Have you ever drunk alcohol in the morning?

I have a friend staying. We had wine last night and there was about a glass left in the bottle. MY FRIEND HAS JUST DRUNK IT FOR BREAKFAST!

This isn’t normal is it?!

Same here, Christmas, holidays and when really late nights turn into morning.... don't know how people could face the hair of the dog thing.

Seems very odd behaviour for a person that can drink in moderation.

I’ve drank on a morning if we have a celebration/event.... not just doing household chores.

No, not even when offered it on a flight at 10/11am. Something about it tastes weird
at that time. But come 12pm and I'm all about it!

Once before a really important football match as a prematch ritual at 7:40am but I almost boaked and had a cup of tea immediately afterwards!

Yes, this was straight out of bed, in our dressing gowns, I went to make coffee, friend started picking up our glasses and nibbles bowls from last night, picked up bottle of wine (red, opened all night) and said “I might as well finish that” and drank it!

She’s having a bath. I shall ask her if that is normal when she’s down!

I’ve only ever had a drink in the morning at the airport because I hate flying and it takes the edge off!

It could be a warning sign if coupled with other signs of alcohol dependency. On its own as a one off though it means nothing.

A hotel we were staying at in Greece offered Prosecco and smoked salmon for breakfast every Sunday. Bloody lovely.

1st May in oxford. Pubs open at 5.30am. Some people carry on in the morning, others start early.

Apart from Christmas morning I drank loads once...was early 20s and on a bus trip to Blackpool that left at 8 in the morning, was pissed before we left Scotland, ah the memories!

My SIL’s friend will finish a glass of red wine left out from the night before, before the school run. She has ishoos though.
