I just saw a really passive-aggressive post by StyleMeSunday about transgender people and transphobia. It's so obvious where they're going with this. They're going to pick up the TRA mantle and use it as a stick to beat 'transphobic' mumsnet with.
I'm so utterly sick of the instamums clique I've just gone through my feed and unfollowed all of them (except Mother Pukka). They're obtuse, self-serving, insidiously internecine, shallow, vapid, greedy and yes I'm gonna say it: not too bright either.
What they're complaining about is exactly what people have been saying for ages is a natural consequence of selling your entire family out for freebies.
MOD is bleating about people making her address public online. SHE MADE HER OWN ADDRESS PUBLIC ONLINE WHEN THEY REGISTERED IT AS THE BUSINESS ADDRESS AT COMPANIES HOUSE!! I mean, honestly, are they stupid or what?
You create an entire business around exploiting your children and then register that business against your home address. And then complain that people know your address and call it 'bullying'. Seriously, get a clue. It's a massive safeguarding issue. Anyone can legitimately look up an address at Companies House, you dolts.
And what was that story she posted of someone's bad review of her book? She was implying that the person who posted the review was thick because they didn't understand the premise. No, they just thought the book was bad. The arrogance. The sheer arrogance and ignorance of singling out a bad reviewer and holding them up as an example of someone who 'doesn't get it'. THAT'S bullying, no?
No one is allowed to criticise them. They want to exist in a fake echo chamber of 'hunning' and self-congratulatory butt-kissing. And any dissenting voices are 'haters' and bullies. But the attempt to shut down opinion by calling it bullying is just typical of the disingenuousness displayed by all these ruthless, greedy, literally sell-their-own-grandma-to-make-a-quick-buck, women.
The arrogance is staggering. They honestly believe the internet owes them a living and pious, reverent respect, just for shilling tat and having cute kids.
I'm disgusted by them and completely sick of the whole thing. It's just consumption. Stuff, stuff, stuff. Candles, t shirts, badly-written books, tote bags, 'It' dresses, baby rompers, tupperware, lingerie, ad nauseum.
I'm sick of it all.
