How often do you get a haircut?

I haven’t been to the salon since November. The hairdresser said we should go every six weeks Confused but that seems expensive and I’m trying to grow my hair... if I went that often my hair would never grow!

Last had my hair cut pre baby which was about a year ago now. It's got really long, DH seems to like it though so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Every 6-8 weeks. It is expensive but my hair is very thick and starts to go triangular if it isn't shaped regularly.

Regular trims actually makes your hair grow faster and also keeps it looking thicker and fuller because it doesn't trail into straggly split ends.

Haven't been for over two years. I cut it myself and use a semi-permanent colour.

DragonNoodleCake · 29/04/2018 00:40

Every 6 weeks without exception

LarryFreakinStylinson · 29/04/2018 02:14

Every 3 to four weeks for a cut and colour.

AlexaAmbidextra · 29/04/2018 02:20

Cut and highlights every six weeks.

Probably about 8 years ago. I have unruly curly hair that grows like a weed. I watched a video on YouTube, bought a decent pair of hairdressing scissors and never looked back. The whole thing takes about 15 minutes every few months and looks pretty good.

Laserbird16 · 29/04/2018 03:40

Every 6 months, before Christmas and my birthday!

DameDoom · 29/04/2018 09:37

I went from long and my bi-annual highlights and cut to a very precise bob and have to get mine cut every 7 weeks at the latest otherwise it looks a bloody state.
in one week it can go from immaculate to unkempt. Costs a fortune but my hair is fine and straight and I am, admittedly, a bit vain.

Hairdresser comes to house. Cut every 3 months and monthly highlights alternating between full head, half head and T section. I don’t get her to blow dry she puts in my foils and goes.

Once every 4 months - I have long hair and just like to get the ends trimmed. If I go more often I find it hard to keep it long as they always take off 1-2 inches. I trim my fringe in between
