What is your ultimate comfort food?

I’m at home in bed today (day off work) with bad period cramps and all I want is my mum’s homemade tomato soup with warm crusty bread covered in lashings of butter.
My OH’s apple crumble would go down nicely right now too.
What do you crave when you’re feeling sorry for yourself? Or when you just fancy something that you really enjoy?

Homemade ham hock and lentil soup, with buttery crusty bread
Macaroni cheese
Sugary milky tea with chocolate raisins or a pack of toffees

Tuna macaroni, made with tinned tuna in oil, tinned condensed tomato soup and cooked penne pasta (NOT macaroni, surprisingly) all heated up together with cheese on top, or if I feel really bad Farleys rusks (the proper ones with sugar in) mixed smooth with lots of hot milk. I can't believe nobody has said Farleys rusks yet!!!!!

Anything my Mam makes especially her dinners like beef casserole with mash, steamed asparagus and Yorkshires. Then treacle tart and cream from the local bakery. Has to be potato based.

Fresh pasta with lots of butter, salt, pepper, parmesan and dark leafy green things of some kind.
Spaghetti with spicy tomato sauce and prawns, mussels, squid etc
Jacket potato with tuna crunch and grated cheese (in a cafe), with an enormous salad.
Wholeweat toast with butter, mature cheddar and mincemeat (or chutney or possibly strawberry jam)

Cheese potato, with grilled tomato and smoked bacon strips on top.

Cheese and onion pasty,chips and beans

Meatball, bean and cheese toastie, made in a proper toastie maker and lightly buttered so the edges come out all crispy. Mmm

Egg and soldiers when I’m ill
Maccy cheese if not ill, but want stodge.
Cheese on toast is great too.

Billy bear sandwich on white bread with lots of butter!

Mash with half a rub of cream cheese mixed in

Cheese toasties (cathedral city and extra thick white warburtons bread with salty lurpak butter) and Heinz tomato soup to dunk them in.

That or cheesy mash and beans.

Marmite sandwich made with lashings of margarine and a glass of coca cola.

I'm lactose intolerant now

Big Mac meal...... chips and curry from chipper. Soup(chicken),with toast,if feeling unwell.Ice cold white Wine to wash all the above down Or prosseco as a treat.

Cream of tomato soup with either extremely buttery toast or cheese on toast to dip
Can of chopped tomatoes heated up with loads of salt and extremely buttery toast to dip
Macaroni cheese
Brownies / Blondies
Ice cream

Also warm ginger cake / gingerbread traybake

Macaroni cheeses here too or white toast with lashings of butter and a little marmite

Ooh one more - chips, fried rice and curry sauce. Yum!

Oh and real chips with fried eggs. Chocolate,gooey fondant,with vanilla ice cream.

Lastly steak,mushrooms onions,chips,fried egg. I am starving now.....want it all!!

Pasta (penne or fusilli) cooked in chicken stock, ladled soup-wise into a bowl, with lots of grated mature Cheddar added.

Heinz tomato soup or Ambrosia Rice Pudding, depending how I feel at the time.
