It's tipped to be the new prince's name. I know we're all supposed to love old men's names but Arthur is just too awful.

Come on Kate & Will - you know you want to call him Milo or Ryan. Just do it!

They won't have Charles as they have Charlotte, I like Arthur to be honest. Arthur James Phillip would cover most bets, they'd have to be really mean to call him Prince Albert though!

applesisapple5 · 24/04/2018 15:27

I hope they don't pick Arthur because I'm due on Saturday and it's on my shortlist Smile

BakedBeans47 · 24/04/2018 15:27

YANBU it’s a horrible name

The80sweregreat · 24/04/2018 15:28

yes, whats the the Albert hate? i saw this on another thread, does it mean something a bit racy? or sexual? if it is, i've never heard of it/

PlowerOfScotland · 24/04/2018 15:28

@LaurieMarlow Noooooooooooooooo

MrsJayy · 24/04/2018 15:28

Laurie it is a willy piercing Shock

Sirzy · 24/04/2018 15:29

I like Arthur

I am surprised James is such a popular expectation really, I can’t see Prince Charles being too happy with that as a name...

DotForShort · 24/04/2018 15:29

I like Arthur. Since he is unlikely ever to become king, he won't have to cope with being King Arthur and the inevitable comparisons made to a (probably) fictional figure.

Thank goodness they already have a George. Otherwise the pressure to name the new baby George would be immense, given his birthday.

TeaCoffeeCakeGinWine · 24/04/2018 15:29

Just as an alternative for those saying they hate old man names, my Arthur was inspired by ‘King Arthur’ and his Celtic connections. Just a thought for you there. Anyway, Princey McPrinceface is definitely the best suggestion.: someone should call them and get them to add it to the list

MissionItsPossible · 24/04/2018 15:30

Don't do it @LaurieMarlow!

Rafflesway · 24/04/2018 15:31

MrsJayy you are not alone! I learned what a "Prince Albert" was from Mnet last night. I have most definitely led a sheltered life. Grin

Personally I hate both Albert and Arthur but love Louis.

AgathaRaisonDetra · 24/04/2018 15:33

Gary. It is Prince Gary.

LaurieMarlow · 24/04/2018 15:33

Too late mission. Consider me educated Grin

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 24/04/2018 15:34

Lol you know you want a possibility of King Arthur really

Rafflesway · 24/04/2018 15:34

OOh sorry teacoffee, i x posted with you. Blush

I am sure your little Arthur is adorable. Must admit it is far preferable when related to King Arthur as opposed to Arthur Askey/Daley etc.

georgehale · 24/04/2018 15:34

I'm going for Thomas.

Ickyockycocky · 24/04/2018 15:35

I like James or Alexander for the new prince.

LaurieMarlow · 24/04/2018 15:35

Actually MrsJayy got there first anyway Grin

upsideup · 24/04/2018 15:35

I think Arthur is a lovely name.
Milo and Ryan are really, really awful though.

SofieMonde · 24/04/2018 15:35

So Prince Willy will have a Prince Albert :) #RightRoyalFarce

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 24/04/2018 15:36

It’ll be Lee or Wayne.

DaveswifeDawn · 24/04/2018 15:36

As George is taken, they could call him Saint. St for short.

i thought this site was meant to support mothers not attack them because of what they might call their child

Curtainshopping · 24/04/2018 15:36

How do the bookies even know? Presumably the parents have only discussed it with a trusted few, if at all. They’re just pulling names out of thin air.

LapdanceShoeshine · 24/04/2018 15:37

George VI was Albert - called Bertie - I think that would be nice Smile
