To think please not Arthur

It's tipped to be the new prince's name. I know we're all supposed to love old men's names but Arthur is just too awful.

Come on Kate & Will - you know you want to call him Milo or Ryan. Just do it!

Prince Louis is much better than Prince Albert.

It's definitely pronounced Louiee,
I like it it's a nice name,
Does come time as more of a French royal family name, better than Arthur tho.

William was incredibly protective of his dm and now being a parent and husband..it's not surprising if relations are strained to whatever degree.
Kate I imagine doesn't want to be soo formal with Charles either.. Post partum. No matter how much William has warmed to camila it must sting to have her of all people enjoying his ml mother's grandchild... And grandchildren.
The woman who caused his dm so much pain and yet camila is reaping the joys...

It's a real nod to Prince Philip's family. Obviously there's his uncle Louis Mountbatten, but also Philip's Grandfather was Louis, and it was he who dropped Battenburg and created Mountbatten during WWI.

I think they wanted either Albert or Alfred, but decided against them because of the various associations.

It's a strong name on Philip's side of the family so I'm not that surprised they've used it despite it being one of George's middle names.
