I hate it when they discontinue my favourite perfumes

My all time favourite summer perfume was discontinued,Miss Dior Cherie l'eau.
It really pisses me off when they do that,or reformulate it so it smells nothing like it used to.now its going for crazy prices on the 'Bay.
Also lancome Aqua fusion moisturiser!
What are your favourite discontinued perfumes or beauty products?

I loved Tentation by Paloma Picasso. It's on eBay but as it was last made in 1997 I don't think I'll bother.

A few of you mentioned Aqua Manda, they brought it back a couple of years ago but either it had changed or my taste has.

Mrspotatohead I loved Very Valentino too! Wore it on my wedding day, gorgeous smell. Cannot believe the prices of it on eBay now, I wish I'd bought a few extra bottles back then!

@Spartacunt - is the one you mean "Dolce and Gabanna" by D&G? Just spotted it on a rare scent page so it's out there, but very pricey!

The original Missony by Missony made back in the 1980s. I got to the end of my second bottle, maybe late 1980s and never managed to find it again!

I am allergic to a lot of perfumes so finding one that I like that doesnt bring me out in hives or burn my skin is difficult. Hugo Deep Red I love but i can hardly find it anymore, not sure if its discontinued or just not popular anymore so rarely stocked. I dread the day i run out and its gone forever.... back to the quest to find another one....

Only very limited stocks of Versace Red Jeans are now available. I used to love it but once i reached the end of the last bottle i had about 18 months ago i started to find it a bit too sweet.

Ive been wearing one called Dusk from New Look since last summer. Its lovely and supposed to be a dupe for a Lancome one. im not bothered about that though. I just like it cos it smells nice and i get complimented when i wear it although that used to happen with Red Jeans too.

Jo malone - blue agave and cacao. I loved it, bought a small 30ml bottle of it in airport duty free a couple years back because that’s all I could afford at the time, wish I’d just got the big bottle. I’ve managed so far to make a small 30ml bottle last two and a half years.

I desperately need recommendations!

I don’t wear perfume often, so still had a good two thirds of my last bottle of Fragile by Jean Paul gaultier left.

Until DD decided she’d like to smell nice and managed to empty the entire bottle over her hair and my bedroom (as much as I love the smell, that was a rough week for sleep!)

What can I buy that is remotely similar?

I feel like I’ve lost my own personal scent.

Kiehls Vanilla and Cedarwood Sad
I love this and had no idea it was being discontinued. Too late to get more.
I used to love Helmut Lang which was discontinued. It's been brought back but it's now £90 a bottle!

My favourite perfume was sun moon and stars. Used to cost under £20 and the bottle was so cute.

Eau de Gucci was the first perfume I ever bought, and I loved it. Sadly it was discontinued some years ago now.

The original Nina by Nina Ricci. It was my first proper perfume for my sixteenth birthday. They ended up totally changing it, it’s now sold in an apple shaped bottle but it’s not the proper one to me. I did find an old one online a few years ago and I keep it in its box and it’s rarely used, just for special occasions.

It's so annoying isn't it. I had Ralph Lauren Glamorous, many years ago! I was so disappointed when they discontinued it. I'm quite fussy with perfume & struggle to find ones I like. There are only really 2 I own at the moment that I can honestly say I like, there are a few others I have got that were bought for me as gifts & I just find them alright, but don't tend to wear them so does seem like a waste really.
