I hate it when they discontinue my favourite perfumes

My all time favourite summer perfume was discontinued,Miss Dior Cherie l'eau.
It really pisses me off when they do that,or reformulate it so it smells nothing like it used to.now its going for crazy prices on the 'Bay.
Also lancome Aqua fusion moisturiser!
What are your favourite discontinued perfumes or beauty products?

I adored Calvin Klein contradiction and bouquet by Vera wang, both of which I killed off by declaring I loved them!

I shouldn't but I adore sweet darling by kylie minogue. They still have the regular darling everywhere and I've had to resort to ever increasing ebay prices.
I'll be heartbroken the day I stop finding it.

L'Occitane did a lovely summery one called Calanques. Lasted really well on me & smelled like the seaside, but they only did it for one season.

I can still smell Fendi when I think about it. I never had any but used to scour the magazines for the samples as a teenager and rip out the scented pages to put in my underwear drawer.

Calvin Klein contradiction......... couldn't get hold of it for years then spotted a 50ml bottle in TJ Hughes. Wasn't too expensive either!

Ah...Venezia. I used to save up my crappy wages to buy that in my early 20's. The relaunch a couple fo years ago was rubbish (obviously still bought it though Grin).

Paris was my wedding perfume. I think it is gone now.

I'd love to find a bottle of Woodleigh Green Apple Shampoo - that would bring me right back to my early teens.

I bought my 16 and 17 year olds a bottle of anais anais and rive gauche - when they wear them, I am transported back to my own youth.

I'm sure I've seen Envy about recently? Gucci seem a bit prone to discontinuing favourites- DM still mourns a Gucci from the 90s, it was in a flat atomiser. I know the pain, Guerlain discontinued my beloved L'Instant Magic but appear to have reprieved it, much to my joy. I haven't been able to find Trouble by Boucheron for years though Angry

Eau de Givenchy should be available to order from Harrods. Givenchy sell their "mythique" scents there. I've bought Eau de Giv for DM there and found L'Interdit for a friend after it for her DM. I think they still stock them!

Have you thought about making your own perfume? There are perfumers who can make it for you. Can be a bit pricey but worth it if it means you don't have to worry about it being discontinued. And they'll keep your scent on file so if you run out they can whip up a new bottle as and when you need it.

@Monkeymonstermum you can buy it on Chanel website but it isn't in any shops any more. That makes me suspicious that they are phasing it out in favour of the (vastly inferior) no5 l'eau Sad

@BarbaraOcumbungles Armani Mania is still made in Italy. A local small perfume shop goes there twice a year and brings a small shipment back. It’s more expensive but worth it!

Kelly Caleche by Hermes. You can just about get it in Europe, but its hard to find.
Kenzo Jungle... not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved it.

I wanted to buy a new bottle of Madame X by Jean Paul Gaultier and that appears to have been discontinued. If I’d known I would have stocked up.
