To wonder where the hell he is?

Been seeing someone for a couple of months, at least twice a week but it’s been nearly every day over the past couple of weeks. He has been really into me, cooked for me, taken me away numerous times and said the l word very early on.

We had plans to go to his friends birthday tonight, spoke to him earlier and everything was fine. Text later to let him know what time I would be over, not read and no reply, we are now 2 and a half hours after we were supposed to meet and I haven’t heard from him since 3.30pm. No messages read, no answer to my calls. Getting a bit concerned, where could he be?!

Glad he is well and it was all just very banal

BabyClam · 15/04/2018 19:24

Hurrah! A happy ending!

snewname · 15/04/2018 19:25

Glad it worked out for you. How worrying.

DragonMummy1418 · 15/04/2018 19:28

Bizzare.
This is on mine! 😮

I completely missed the people saying this was a fake thread, again..... why the cynicism about everyone?! And to whoever said the fact that I said he had taken me away numerous times in 2 months didn’t ring true, I’m afraid it is, he has taken me away for the weekend every other week since we met and 2 times over the Easter holiday as well...

Hmmm...funny how you said @TheJoyOfSox is OP on yours the update was given.
Coincidence or have we all been played?

Or mumsnet has an error?

PeapodBurgundy · 15/04/2018 19:35

To be honest I think there's a glitch on the thread. I've been seeing every post several times for a few pages. It may be technical error before any mud sligning starts.

DragonMummy1418 · 15/04/2018 19:37

Yeah I've had problems posting, it keeps saying it's not sent and then sending it several times.
Maybe it's a mumsnet glitch.
But then It's also quite coincidental timing with the update.

GorgeousJaws · 15/04/2018 19:39

Mumsnet is glitching all over the shop to be fair.

You didn't give odds on YOU being the OP Grin

Tistheseason17 · 15/04/2018 19:39

What time did he come to the door, OP?

HebeMumsnet · 15/04/2018 19:40

Glad to hear he's ok, OP.

We also just wanted to clear up that we don't think there is anything funny going on here other than a very strange glitch. We've checked behind the scenes and the OP has no links at all with this other poster and we've been unable to replicate the issue here. We will have a look into it but we think it must have just been one of those mad moments where the internet loses it a bit.

Sorry for any confusion but no need for alarm!

Addictedtohavingbabies · 15/04/2018 19:42

OP- whatever 😂

sundayblanket · 15/04/2018 19:43

@TheHeightSupremacist I'm glad all was well in the end! That did seem the most likely outcome, silly man!

Absolutely agree that all the LTB warriors on Mumsnet need to calm down. Most posters' solution to ANY relationship problem is he's a liar and a cheat, LTB, no question asked. Whatever happened to giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and working through issues? Sheesh.

Well, darn. And here I was betting on aliens. Grin

EmmaGrundyForPM · 15/04/2018 19:45

That's fantastic news OP. I was worried that something awful might have happened to him.

Please ignore the posters who said not to trust anyone who tells you he loves you so quickly. 25 years ago I was dating someone who I'd known previously but we only been going out for 3 weeks when he said he loved me, and after 5 weeks said he wanted to marry me. We'll be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary next year

somersetsoul · 15/04/2018 19:46

Thank god op! I've been checking all day! He sounds like a good one x
