To wish fab Nicola was our PM

Her thoughts this morning

My first thoughts this morning are with service personnel called to action. Syria’s use of chemical weapons is sickening - but the question that the PM has not answered is how this action, taken without parliamentary approval, will halt their use or bring long term peace. #Syria

Odious, vile woman who does what she wants regardless of the wishes of the Scottish voters.

RVPisnomore · 14/04/2018 20:09

Jesus fucking Christ. That woman is a disgrace and shouldn’t be allowed to run a bath let alone the country!

ocelot41 · 14/04/2018 20:11

I really don't get the hatred - did political journalism for a decade (Holyrood and Westminster), NC is easily one of the cleverest politicians out there. In fact, when AS was at the helm, people often thought she was too much of a bluestocking to take the top seat at the table. Whatever you think of Scottish Nationalism, she's no BoJo that's for sure. Of course she does something's for the political symbolism - surprise! She's a politician. They all do.

Picasso101 · 14/04/2018 20:11

SNP have destroyed the NHS and education in Scotland. They hate Westminster and their policies are simply anything in opposition to Westminster.

Nicola can say whatever she likes in relation to Syria, she doesn’t actually have to do anything. Empty vessels etc...

ARoomSomewhere · 14/04/2018 20:15

I live in Scotland.
PLEASE take her away....

Awful divisive woman.
SNP has wrecked education, infrastructure, messed with the Courts, the Named Person scheme, higher taxes, howling holes in all systems.

Oh, and an Independence endgame... whatever the costs.

Like someone said upthread, if Westmonster offered Free Kittens for all, NS would offer free PTS at the Vet for said kittens. Kneejerk reaction. I am still shuddering from the effects of the last referendum in my village.

Twinkie1 · 14/04/2018 20:21

I think maybe she should stop points scoring and think about the hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians that have been murdered since the last parliamentary vote vetoed us getting involved.

beepbeeprichie · 14/04/2018 20:26

Fab Nicola. Just wow.
There’s nothing to be said that hasn’t been already. Self serving in the extreme. Our country is swirling down the toilet as she tries to blame it all on “Westmonster”.

beepbeeprichie · 14/04/2018 20:27

Twinkie1 in an absolute nutshell. Everything is about scoring points. Quick look over there! Not at the shit show here- over there!!!!

Mumto2two · 14/04/2018 20:35

Nicola Sturgeon??? Are you serious?! Shock

Olddear · 14/04/2018 20:37

You can have Nicola and her wee nodding head any time you like

SaltireSaltire · 14/04/2018 20:37

BUT compared to the cadaver in a dress that is Theresa May, Nicola is genius and decisive

True.

I do wonder what some Scottish posters imagine is happening in England? Teacher shortage, teacher morale rock bottom, endless exam changes, huge FE debt for students,, NHS in shreds and fundraising to raise money for the Fire Service and Police struggling to cope as the funding is pared to the bones.

Nicola believed Parliament should have been consulted about taking action on Syria. Not unreasonable really.

QueenoftheSilverDollar12 · 14/04/2018 20:40

She can believe all she likes @SaltireSaltire like the rest of us. But she can do fuck all about it as she has no power at all. She's a nobody south of Gretna.

She's a legend in her own lunchtime.

SaltireSaltire · 14/04/2018 20:45

Queen - really makes the point. Nobody is anybody when democracy is ignored.

DairyisClosed · 14/04/2018 20:47

You can't possibly mean sturgeon? She's even stupid that May.

BrashCandicoot · 14/04/2018 20:50

Teacher shortage, teacher morale rock bottom, endless exam changes

Do you not realise these are also happening in Scotland too? Teachers leaving the profession in droves, morale at rock bottom and a failing, yet hilariously named, Curriculum for Excellence geared towards raising a new generation of un-dissenting little Scot-bots.

Bejazzled · 14/04/2018 20:50

Cadaver in a dress

Is that type of language really necessary? Some people are so ignorant they have to resort to personal attacks.

Emma198 · 14/04/2018 20:51

I hate her smug little face.

carmelsundae · 14/04/2018 20:54

😂😂😂😂😂
Yes. Yabu.

ARoomSomewhere · 14/04/2018 20:56

SaltireSaltire
I dont need to imagine what is happening in England.
I said I lived in Scotland. Well, I did for 25 years. But I moved to England last year entirely for my kids education which was so appalling in Scotland.
It is like night and day. When they arrived they were 3 yrs behind in Maths, 18m in English. They caught up in just over a year. Thoroughly taught in a small average English primary. NO comparison.

KevinTheYuccaPlant · 14/04/2018 21:01

I suppose she's alright if you live in Glasgow or Edinburgh, perhaps Aberdeen, but we moved to the Highlands 10 years ago to look after MIL and the level of services here isn't great. The local high school has to teach some subjects by sitting the kids down in front of a computer for supervised self-guided distance learning because they can't fill posts, the nearest large hospital, nearly 50 miles away, has downgraded its maternity unit to the point where nearly everyone now has to travel 2.5-3 hours to give birth - or, in the recent snow, over 4 hours in an ambulance which was following a snowplough, with partners following the ambulance. MIL is in the early stages of dementia and I've been told from people with experience of some of the local care homes that they wouldn't send a rat to live there, let alone a vulnerable adult. I have told DH that, beautiful as it is here, I do not want to be living here when I'm 80.

BonnieF · 14/04/2018 21:06

I agree that Sturgeon is a skilful politician, but she has a very easy job.

If anything goes well in Scotland, or is better in Scotland than the rest of the UK, such as tuition fees : take all the credit, while ignoring the fact that the English taxpayer is paying for it.

If there are any problems in Scotland : Blame the English.

If Scottish taxes increase: Blame the English.

Sottish NHS crap? : Blame the English.

Scottish weather shite? : Blame the English.

Scottish football team lost to the Faroe Islands? Blame the English.

Leaving the EU? Blame the English, and the Tories in particular.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 14/04/2018 21:21

Christ no. I wouldn’t want Nicola Sturgeon as a door stop
I can’t stop laughing at that,the image of,I’m a v literal thinker at times

RJnomore1 · 15/04/2018 00:47

I've been thinking.

hello Nicola!

littlebillie · 15/04/2018 02:56

😂
