Joining in again, i don't feel sadness at all for the criminal or his family, not one bit. How dare say he wasn't a violent man, or didn't murder or rape people so he is a good man, how dare they put up a shit excuse of a shrine outside the real victims home when the low life didn't even die there.

The authorities in this country have a history of sitting on problems and ignoring them, until they get out of hand.

This would be an accurate assessment of the Vincents. They've been known criminals for at least thirty years. It was obvious when it came to HV by age 11 that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

But just who and how was anyone supposed to intervene? People were terrified of them; safety could not be guaranteed. The only people with the back up to deal with them were the police in numbers.

My relative said it best when he described them as "poundland peaky blinders". That's the kind of clan mentality they have. It's just instead of running books and operating on an organised crime level, they rob old people.

This is why nice sentiments like Bob13's about being tolerant and understanding just don't work with people like this family.

They contribute fuck-all, but get given somewhere to live/stay (or they just rock up and take it); schooling: healthcare etc. They cost a fortune in terms of policing and criminal court fees (wonder what this thieving turd's funeral will cost the tax payer as he was unemployed and doubtless a heavy police presence will be needed) whilst committing crimes and targeting some of the weakest and most vulnerable in society.

What else should we be doing that song just be abused?

I grew up with a huge travelling community. Went to school with lots of them too.

Everyone is/was shit scared of them, including the police.

I was strangled at school by one. Nothing done.
I was bullied by another. Nothing done.
I was sexually assaulted by 3 of them under a subway. Nothing done.

I worked as a waitress. Every Saturday night, big group would come in. Kick off. Get free food. Nothing done. One time a new manager said no. Brick through window next day. Nothing done.

Pretty much everyone we knew either had been conned out of money or knew someone that had. They were untouchable. Above the law.

We lost money. Our neighbours did too. One lady we knew lost thousands.

I have tonnes more stories! But can never talk this way as I’m being stereotypical or racist or something.

You never ever mess with one, or you will be dead. And I’ve seen that too.

This couple has to move. They will get revenge.

Let's not forget that their was two POS that went into the house that night, not just Henry Vincent.
How bloody terrifying it must have been for the couple.
Billy Jeeves has not been seen in public since, as far as I am away but his burnt out van has been found.
How anyone can sympathise with the community that is protecting him I will never understand.

Yeah my language is a bit more colourful, but I am just so angry at scumbag families like this who wreck peoples lives, and fucked OFF with the apologists, not only defending them, but also calling people LOONS and nasty people and other shit, for not wanting to hug the criminal filth and feel sorry for them.

No-one is apologising or excusing what he did snow he deserved to be punished for his crimes but we don't have the death sentence in this country and I for one am happy with that.

I'm not pleased the elderly couple have been driven out of their home. I'm not pleased they were targeted by Vincent. I'm not pleased the pensioner will have to live with the consequences of his actions for the rest of his life. I have genuine empathy for them and wish them the best in the future.

I can feel that way while also finding it disgusting that people are joyful over a father losing his life and disturbing that they feel the need to crow about their feelings on the matter on a public forum his wife, mother and children can read. It's sick and the people commenting that way need mental health support.

It is not normal to wish a gruesome death on anyone.
