Stirner, do identify precisely where on this thread anyone is defending Vincent?

troodiedoo · 12/04/2018 13:45

On a scale of guardian to daily mail I'm pretty left wing, and I'm glad he's dead. Live by the sword...
I've had a children's sports event cancelled by police because of traveller threats. Police need to grow a backbone.

user1471450935 · 12/04/2018 13:45

Only just finished read 1st thread.
Only people who critcised the police on that one are the ones who where glad the man died. Everyone who could feel empathy with family understood the police's dilema.
Travellers are by law meant to have council provided sites to use as the travel around England and Wales, but like so many on this thread they discrimnate against them and refuse, illegally, to provide them
Then posters moan travellers use school playing fields. well if councils and you provided a site as they are required by law, they would not use schools

Finally Ant from Ant and Dec, got into car, drunk, damaged 2 cars, one with a 2 year in it. He should go to jail, but no hes in rehab, and loads on mn and irl, actually feel sympathy/sorry for him. So why not Mr Vincent' family. Or is it Ant is a white rich geordie in your living rooms every Saturday night. Or you are all hypocrites

By the way, I feel man was wrong to steal but that doesn't he deserved to die. Think it is the right wing using it to whip up cheap support for return to death penalty

GnotherGnu · 12/04/2018 13:47

I have no problem with people saying they aren't sad someone they don't know has died. I do have a problem with those who abuse others for not being happy or delighted about it. It is particularly an issue when that abuse reaches the childish levels shown by some on this and the previous thread.

Mydoghatesthebath · 12/04/2018 13:53

A poster on the previous thread actually said she would t describe the pensioner as either frail or elderly. Still can’t get over that one. Clearly insane

Aeroflotgirl · 12/04/2018 13:54

Oh god, we have another one on this thread, user, why do you think that a criminal dying commiting a crime did not derseve to die? By saying that, you are supporting this criminal, and saying that, Mr Osbourne was wrong in what he did, defending himself and his wife. You might feel sad for him, but him and his family woukd not return the same sympathies to you, tgey do not careless about others, only themselves. Mr Osbourne did not deserve being broken into in the middle of the night, and being made to kill somebody so that he could defend himself and his wife. He did not deserve what he has to live with now, and having to live in hiding, because of what those nasty disgusting people will do to him!

Springiscoming123 · 12/04/2018 13:56

yes and part of the problem why LA cant provide sites is because people strongly object as rightly they dont want to live next to "the travellers culture"and i dont blame them, they bought this upon themselves so they have caused not finding sites themselves

i wouldn t want to live near a site but thats because i have had a fare amount of experience with them

Aeroflotgirl · 12/04/2018 13:56

Yes Ant does deserve tge long arm of the law after what he did, he coukd have killed that family with his reckless driving under the influence.

CDAlady · 12/04/2018 13:57

Not only do I no longer have faith in the police, I now view them as being partisan and politicised these days rather than actually doing their remit of enforcing the law. It's ridiculous that it has come to the point where communities are funding their own private security force because they feel that the police have failed them, all the while we are paying taxes supposedly for police to protect us and uphold the law.

This is a seriously scary comment. It's the kind of thing you would expect in South America. Never in Britain. Do people honestly feel they are not protected by the law in this country? Our police are the envy of the world. What on earth is going on if you seriously think you can't trust them?

Aeroflotgirl · 12/04/2018 13:58

Exactly, people don't want it on their doorstep because of this kind of thing. It makes their neighbourhood a target of crime.

Mydoghatesthebath · 12/04/2018 13:58

As far as I remember one poster called the police scum. Awful. However thankfully it’s still quite ok to criticise the police action or rather inaction isn’t it???

I think you must be taking the wine to early to compete the cases of Ant and this career criminal. What on Gods earth are you on about?

ihatetosay · 12/04/2018 13:59

if i lived in that road i would take the flowers down and bin them and do the same every time they tried to replace them. i feel so sorry fo the pensioner who had who protecting his wife in his own home.

Mydoghatesthebath · 12/04/2018 13:59

Well he has been charged and quite right too but to compare him to this scumbag Is clearly idiotic and ludicrous

GorgeousJaws · 12/04/2018 14:00

How on earth has Ant Mcpartlin's drink problem been wangled into a thread about a criminal being murdered? Confused

GorgeousJaws · 12/04/2018 14:00

Pressed send too soon.

I DON'T think it was murder!!

See people like you are exactly what helps the right wing groups gain members. If you can’t see that I can’t help you.

Stirner · 12/04/2018 14:02

@GorgeousJaws - This jem from @Bob13"If Harry V was as you say, Quietwordinear, then I expect he was exposed to some seriously difficult times in his early upbringing. His path was perhaps laid out from an early age. How sad that in modern society we r not able to support the children of troubled families better, so they do not grow up to follow the trajectories laid out from toddler-hood" apparently it's society's fault and not the poor ickle burgler.

Oh FFS! 😂😂😂😂

These apologists are getting battier by the hour!

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😁😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am seriously fucking embarrassed for you lot. SERIOUSLY.....................

You are looking pretty silly and desperate now!

Eh? Even if there was a connection between a celebrity being charged with drink driving and a career criminal why mention the colour of Ants skin? In case you hadnt noticed the dead man was white to.

GorgeousJaws · 12/04/2018 14:06

I don't think that's defending them, I agree with the sentiments. I've seen it here often, children who are dragged up basically, and become the Vincents of the world. It would be better if we could help them out of it when they are young enough, surely?

LagunaBubbles · 12/04/2018 14:08

It would be better if we could help them out of it when they are young enough, surely?

Of course it would but that can be difficult enough without it being a Traveller family. They will never allow any outside help at all.

Stirner · 12/04/2018 14:08

@GorgeousJaws - that's likely true, but that would involve removing them from their environment and placing them in a situation where they can be properly educated and brought up. Something the righteous warriors on here would be up in arms about.

RoadToRivendell · 12/04/2018 14:09

I hardly care about And or Dec.

Travellers are by law meant to have council provided sites to use as the travel around England and Wales, but like so many on this thread they discrimnate against them and refuse, illegally, to provide them

I disagree with the law in the first instance. It's farcical.
