Price of coke in Asda

Last week I bought 18 tins for £4.15.

Today I popped in and has to check prices again as they were £8 for 10 tins or £10 for 24 tins. I couldn't believe it. Sugar tax or whatever it was certainly stopped me from buying it.

I'm thinking the labels were wrong? I did read them to check quantity and price.

now according to coca cola official website
The vast majority of our drinks won’t be subject to the Government’s Soft Drinks Tax, including Fanta, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Diet Coke
so why has 2 bottles of zero sugar gone from £2.50 to £3.00 because they put the bloody tax on it when its not supposed to be

I recon it will come out in a few years that artificial sweeteners are worse for you than sugar. They set off my fibromyalgia worse then anything

here is the evidence to say sweetners are carcinogenic?
See point 2 here:

Whereas is there loads of evidence saying an excess of sugar is a factor in weight gain and being overweight / obese is a leading cause of cancer (only second to smoking).
