To be devastated at the demise of the Labour Party, and to wonder how anyone can look at themselves in the mirror if they vote for Corbyn now?

snowagain · 02/04/2018 08:56

Just that really.

Been a Labour supporter all my life, til the last election. Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I am literally devastated at the demise of the Labour party, that has been systematically destroyed from the inside out, by Corbyn and his cronies, and by Corbyn's pathetic behaviour. From his denial of bad behaviour from his party, to the way he shuts down anyone who challenges him. (Including reporters, and his own people ..... if they don't agree with everything he says, he sacks them.)

In the last election, for the first time ever in my life, I was unable to vote, because I am not voting for Conservatives. (Even so, if I HAD to vote by law, I would vote for Conservatives before I would vote for Labour.)

The Labour party is dying a slow and painful death, and is a laughing stock. First of all we have the standing joke that is Corbyn, with his bizarre 'extreme-left' bollocks, and refusing to answer any questions that don't suit him, .......'Mr Corbyn what about the antisemitism in in your party?' 'YES it is a nice day isn't it? Thank you, goodbye!' Fucking twit! Hmm

And then we have his ludicrous and laughable cronies... Diane 'can't count for toffee' Abbott, Monroe 'bigoted ranty' Bergdorf, and now Eddie fucking Izzard in a dress. Hmm

Even people I know who were obsessive Corbynites a year or so ago, are cringing with embarrassment now, as he turns the party into more of a laughing stock every day. And as I said in the thread title, how can anyone POSSIBLY support him and the Labour party now?

That's it really. I am literally so gutted at the demise of my party.

Until Corbyn fucks off and takes his cronies with him, Labour is dead to me. And I know a LOT of people who think the same!

R.I.P. The Labour Party. 😢😢😢

Thanks Torybot

Lovelydearie · 02/04/2018 08:58

I agree entirely. It is utterly heart breaking to see what it has become. Benn, Foot , Smith 1st am must be spinning in their graves.

ScipioAfricanus · 02/04/2018 08:59

Well I voted Labour last year which I had always said I would never do, so there are people being driven in both directions. There’s a lot I don’t like about labour. I’d vote for them rather than the Tories (TM is another one good at not answering questions).

The New Labour of Tony Blair et al was what disgusted me and turned me off the party.

ferntwist · 02/04/2018 09:00

When senior members of the Shadow cabinet started to parrot ‘transwomen are women’ (conveniently omitting to mention that as many as 80-95% of today’s trans-bandwagon jumpers are men with an intact penis), my support started to waver. And I’ve pounded the pavements and knocked on doors for Labour.

Gabbyleo · 02/04/2018 09:01

Seriously? I ask the same to the Tories. With a year until the brexit leave date our government is in chaos. Stop trying to deflect the shambles going on in number 10

Quietlife1979 · 02/04/2018 09:03

I 100% agree.

What he is doing to women’s rights with the party and outwardly is a fucking disgrace.

No idea who I can vote for now Sad

InspMorse · 02/04/2018 09:03

Oh dear! Right-wing labour have nowhere to go? Sad

FancyNewBeesly · 02/04/2018 09:03

I assume you haven’t directed your critical skills towards this Tory government? If you have, these things should be the least of your worries, and frankly a load of bollocks anyway.

YouTheCat · 02/04/2018 09:03

Araiwa, exactly what I was going to say.

PossumBottom · 02/04/2018 09:08

You know that there are more than two parties, right?

What's wrong with the liberal democrats?

gussyfinknottle · 02/04/2018 09:08

It's pretty sad and reminiscent of the wilderness years in the 80s if you are accused of being a Tory for hating the extremist wing that has control of the Labour Party.
Spoiler alert: the Tories ultimately got rid of Thatcher not the extreme left. The extreme left were too busy alienating everyone.

Everytimeref · 02/04/2018 09:10

I can quite happy vote Labour, Yes there are issues with the leadership but it's the principles of the party I agree with and they haven't changed.

snowagain · 02/04/2018 09:10

This isn't ABOUT the Tories or the Lib-dems, so stop trying to derail and accusing me of being a 'Tory Bot.]

Stick to the subject matter.

Good to see a number of people agreeing.

I absolutely agree Op. He needs to go now.

snowagain · 02/04/2018 09:12

@PossumBottom You are joking right! The Libdems are basically LABOUR. Look how their leader told people to vote for Corbyn in the last election! Fuck that! I would never vote for them!

This 100%.

I like Corbyn.

Exactly. I am no Tory, and never have been, but right now, no WAY would I vote for the extreme left Labour party. They are fucking awful now. And it's all Corbyn's fault.

Goldenbug · 02/04/2018 09:14

I agree.

Can't vote Labour. Won't vote Tory. Nobody left!

Gabbyleo · 02/04/2018 09:14

Who will replace him? We need someone who can get out bass eg the young voters, working class etc up and voting in the next election. I will vote for labour no matter who they have as leader. i despise Theresa May and the Tories and want her out.

InspMorse · 02/04/2018 09:15

Code for: 'Only post if you think that JC is a twunt.'

Almahart · 02/04/2018 09:17

Same. I can’t vote Labour now, nor will my brother or sister, not will our dad. None of us have ever voted anything other than Labour, ever.

To hear the words anti semitism and Labour Party in the same sentence just boggles my mind. Corbyn’s ability to handle the party is completely pathetic.

I’m not a Tory. Never have been, never will be

Samcro · 02/04/2018 09:17

i will vote labour. our local mp is really good.

seesensepeople · 02/04/2018 09:18

Snowagain: "Because hell will freeze over before I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn"
Do you live in Islington North? If so, fair enough. If not YABU - in this country we vote for a local MP not the Prime Ministerial candidate.
Having said that, I've never liked JC.

Ohforfoxsakereturns · 02/04/2018 09:18

I have to agree OP.

I’ve voted Labour all my life, I have cancelled my party membership. I don’t want to be part of it.

I’m stuck - I fully support my local Labour councillors who are very much part of the local community and my MP is a better alternative to the other options around so I will vote for him, but I can’t be a member of the Labour Party any more.

Gabbyleo · 02/04/2018 09:20

Goldenbug
When Tories start making cuts that effect you and your family . When the Nhs collapses, you will have only yourself to blame. We aren't voting for personality of the year! We are voting for liberal, democratic socialist polices, that will provide our kids with a much more brighter future.
