For me it would be cranberry sauce and hot cross buns.

Lebkuchen - they are spiced soft biscuits coated in icing or chocolate and only available in certain supermarkets at Christmas

DramaAlpaca · 23/03/2018 22:50

Jersey Royal new potatoes. I love them.

unintentionalthreadkiller · 23/03/2018 22:51

Asparagus and strawberries.

iklboo · 23/03/2018 22:51

I'm with @WishingOnABar. I could have murdered some lebkuchen today.

SparkwoodAnd21 · 23/03/2018 22:54

Actual proper decent satsumas. Not clementines and certainly none of that easy peeler shite.

VienneseFingers · 23/03/2018 22:56

Orange fondant fancies. Only available at Halloween sadly.

Youradviceneeded · 23/03/2018 22:57

Fresh lychees.

InDubiousBattle · 23/03/2018 23:04

Drama Jersey Royals, butter, thick lamb chops, fresh mint sauce, gravy, green beans. One of the best meals ever.

Strawberries. Truely ripe, sun warmed strawberries are amazing.

If I'm being honest I'm glad they're seasonal though. It wouldn't be the same if they were here all year round

PrettyLittIeThing · 23/03/2018 23:06

Not really something I wish was in the supermarket all year round but I was talking to my sister yesterday who insisted those big chocolate tins they do around Christmas (roses, quality street ect) were in stores all year, when clearly they are only an Xmas thing I've never seen them any other time. Has anyone seen them other than at Xmas?

Puffycat · 23/03/2018 23:06

Jersey royals, Victoria plums and SPROUTS!!

ArdnaGreine · 23/03/2018 23:07

Blood oranges, home grown tomatoes and peas!

JumpingFrogs · 23/03/2018 23:09

Runner beans fresh from the garden - my favourite vegetable by a mile!

thenightsky · 23/03/2018 23:11

Proper, real satsumas.

Fresh cranberries (for making cranberry and marzipan crumble)
Lovely fat juicy summer strawberries.

chirpyburbycheapsheep · 23/03/2018 23:15

Bread sauce...could eat a tub of it daily.....

BanginChoons · 23/03/2018 23:16

Stolen.

BanginChoons · 23/03/2018 23:16

*Stollen

TeeniefaeTroon · 23/03/2018 23:18

Prawn rings! You can only get them at Christmas time.

CadyHeron · 23/03/2018 23:22

Hot cross buns I think are all year round, as you definitely see them a lot in other months too Smile
I'd say mince pies as I love 'em. Although if they were available all year round they'd lose the "specialness" (it's a word lol) of being Christmas related and just be another snack to add to my already fat belly Grin

CadyHeron · 23/03/2018 23:24

Bread sauce...could eat a tub of it daily.....

Stolen.

Had to laugh at these two just 'cos the typo underneath the first comment looks like the other poster is nicking off with the bread sauce Grin
Sorry,as you were lol

Scribblegirl · 23/03/2018 23:26

Aldi do the only decent low alcohol white wine I've ever tasted - it's 5% and called something like Featherlight. All the others taste like cat piss but it's yummy and yet they only stock it in the summer months. Angry Have taken to social media to complain/encourage but no budging them.

It came back on the shelves this week and I'm currently working out how much I need to stockpile to get me through winter Grin

Prtf1345 · 23/03/2018 23:41

I can’t believe this hasn’t been said already- mangoes.

If you haven’t tried a good one, suggest you pick up a box imported from Pakistan or India
