To put dog **** bags on top of car?

Sat outside my horses field waiting for the carrier. Car pulls up and two women get out and take 6 dogs for a walk up the path. 3 times so far (they are still in sight at the mo) have they stopped bagged up the dog poo and proceeded to drop the bags on the floor and walk off.

Would I be unreasonable to pick up Sian bags and dump them on their car bonnet with a note saying to take them home with them?

Are they bagging it because they don't want to carry it on their walk but are coming back the same way so intend picking up the bags on the walk back I wonder.

They must be - they’ve done the worst bit!! What’s the point of picking up shit, just to leave it in a bag - there probably isn’t a bin on their route and they’ll pick it up on the way back.

I was going to say they may be picking them up on the way back to the car! I do this, saves me carrying loads of poo bags around!

@littlepeas no I wouldn't but if I had a dog I would recognise it as a responsibility that I had and one I had to accept if I wanted to be a dog owner. even if they were coming back for it it's still irresponsible - who knows what animal could eat it in the meantime (or some other good soul who didn't know the owner was coming back might feel compelled to pick it up themselves).

If you aren't willing to deal with these things properly you aren't responsible enough for a dog!

It is odd to me actually, everyone finds different things odd after all.
I wouldn't finish a picnic, for example, and leave a plastic bag of my rubbish lying about and come back for it after a walk.

There's shit in bags everywhere on the walk to my local primary. Doubt they'll be picking it up.
Besides that, you don't just leave it so someone else can tread in it because you don't fancy carrying it.

I didn’t say I did it myself, just that I can see why others do. I also think it’s a bit extreme to stage a dirty protest when in all likelihood they will pick the bags up on their way back. I agree it would seem odd to apply the same logic to a picnic though, strangely!

You can buy bags with 2 compartments, one for used poo bags and a smaller on for clean poo bags. It’s gross to leave poo bags on the ground.

When the local area here is littered with bags of crap it would seem that people don't come back and collect....
