Voting for the Moshi Monster movie. Went to see it with DD2. Absolute shite.
Six of us in total in the cinema that day.

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 04/03/2018 22:42

QueenofLouisiana · 04/03/2018 22:45

SouthwarkSkaters · 04/03/2018 22:47

I’ll never get over The Blair Witch Project Confused

Oldlakewilsonroad · 04/03/2018 22:48

Lord of the Rings gets my vote. It was known in our house as Dull of the Dull. 3 hours Abd they still didn’t get the sodding ring!!

Downtheroadfirstonleft · 04/03/2018 22:49

Jacob's Ladder.
Maybe you are all too young and have been spared it...

Beanteam · 04/03/2018 22:49

I hated Lalaland.,
Why put a non singin non musician non dancing pair in a all singing dancing musical (with a crap storyline).

cakedup · 04/03/2018 22:49

The Tree of Life ruined a perfectly good hangover. Pretentious arty bollocks.

Hippadippadation · 04/03/2018 22:49

The Happening was pretty rubbish. Despite the title, nothing happened! We watched it in the cinema and I was close to asking for a refund.

Tinysarah1985 · 04/03/2018 22:51

I would say - SWAT, Beauty & the beast (2017 remake) and inception.

SmurfOrTerf · 04/03/2018 22:51

squoosh - I'm not spacist Grin

Dancingmonkey87 · 04/03/2018 22:52

Goldmonday · 04/03/2018 22:52

BAD NEIGHBOURS argh. Can't believe they made a second one

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 04/03/2018 22:52

@CherryChasingDotMuncher yes!!! Thought I'd find it said and she'd a tear hut the main male character was so unlike able!

Twlight...still love how the best bit is a dream!!! The reaction in the cinema after that...

HaroldsSoCalledBluetits · 04/03/2018 22:53

Jacob's ladder is awesome. Or at least it was 30 years ago. Have to admit I've not seen it since.

I've seen hotel for dogs and it is terrible. The only reason I kept watching was because I couldn't leave the kids at the cinema on their own. Thankfully it was on at kids' club so it didn't cost much. It never explained who cleans up the poo.

SmurfOrTerf · 04/03/2018 22:53

Titanic that really was awful. They spend a bloody fortune on special effects and about 20p on the script Sad

LineysInTheSnow · 04/03/2018 22:55

Queen of the Desert with bloody Nicole Kidman and Robert 'vampire' Pattinson as Bell and Lawrence. They redefined the cardboard cut out school of acting and storytelling.

It was as though Werner Herzog had thought, ooh Gertrude Bell was an interesting woman, now let's package her up as a Hollywood love interest and make her really fucking boring. Twat.

It got slated, it wasn't just me.

AJPTaylor · 04/03/2018 22:56

the emoji movie
big mommas house 2
the power rangers movie

IClavdivs · 04/03/2018 22:57

Any in that series eg "Epic Movie" are truly awful.

However, I don't know if they're the worst i've ever seen, as I haven't been able to watch more than 10 minutes of any of them.

Probably the worst movie I have ever seen right through was "Battlefield Earth". It had a good cast including John Travolta and Forrest Whitaker, and was based on a novel by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of scientology. It was actually so bad that it was extremely enjoyable and rather funny in a perverse kind of way. However, several years after the first viewing, I tried to watch it again, but I couldn't: second time around it was just plain bad.

HaroldsSoCalledBluetits · 04/03/2018 22:57

Agree that the happening should have been renamed nothing happening here.

Also agree about the human centipede. I went in there with great expectations that it would push the boundaries of horror etc and it was just fucking boring. The centipede itself - admittedly I had stopped caring by this point - looked ridiculous. I mean it was actually comical. Not the effect they were going for I'm sure.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 04/03/2018 22:57

As above so below... Not sure what happened. Went into a tunnel and came out again.,
Oh and new Annie... That.

Folkypunkgirll · 04/03/2018 22:58

The Lobster - very depressing and made no sense at all, think I fell asleep half way through!

ToftheB · 04/03/2018 22:59

Zoolander II is absolutely the most awful film I can remember watching. And that’s saying something because I’ve watched both Bratz the movie and Cruel Intentions II.
