Date movie.
It has alisonhannigan in and we thought it might be light hearted
It was dire. Utter crap. And I have a high threshold for crap, can watch most rubbish as long as its entertaining

The Fault In Our Stars. OMG what a pile of sentimental drivel

Yes, boring boring guff. I have never actually hoped that a child character in a film would hurry up and pop their clogs, until I saw Fault in our Stars Blush

gingergenius · 04/03/2018 22:13

@Sarahjconnor nope! I got there first! So I win. But yes, utterly bonkers!

squoosh · 04/03/2018 22:14

Tbh anything with Richard Gere is guaranteed to be shit. What was that borefest where he fell in love with Winona Ryder and then it turned out she had some terminal illness and then snuffed it leaving him all heartbroken. Her character was lucky to die when you think about it.

TwatFacedBitch · 04/03/2018 22:14

Watched Chips the other week.

Truly biggest pile of shit ever.
ds(16) walked off after 15mins saying he's not wasting his time watching something so crap. I lasted about an hour then just gave up.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 04/03/2018 22:15

I like Bridesmaids, Spy and “Lady Ghostbusters” as my kids call it.

SecondaryConfusion · 04/03/2018 22:15

I offer up Last Man Standing, a 90s film with Brice Willis.

It was one of the first films I paid to go and see at the cinema (expensive for me at the time). Nearly put me off ever paying for a cinema ticket again.

BoyWithApple · 04/03/2018 22:15

Eyes Wide Shut. It wanted to be so edgy but it was tedious and cringeworthy.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 04/03/2018 22:15

Unbreakable is also shite.

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 04/03/2018 22:16

Paranormal activity is totally crap. I love th paranormal but the acting in that movie is dire.

n0ne · 04/03/2018 22:16

Dogville just made me angry at the time I'd never get back. Utter pretentious fucking shite

squoosh · 04/03/2018 22:16

I read a review of the latest crappy Bruce Willis action film ( a remake of Death wish for some reason) and his character is said to be in his mid thirties. Even though Brucie is 62!!

TinDogTavern · 04/03/2018 22:17

Holy Motors. The critics loved it but dear god it was absolute cobblers. And it would. not. end.

Moussemoose · 04/03/2018 22:17

So these dogs lived in a hotel.

A hotel for dogs.

KERALA1 · 04/03/2018 22:18

Baffled at the bridesmaids hate. Several very funny scenes. The competitive speech bit. The step kids "they are just adorable they love me" "fuck off Helen". Melissa McCarthy is great - love her upbeat attitude and the pep talk "know it's hard to believe but I had a difficult time in high school". And her "over committing" to 7 puppies. Very funny.

I hate the misogynistic "comedies" like knocked up and this is 40. Women are hideous whiny fun killers men are decent, hard done by, sympathetic and funny. Fuck off with that.

gingergenius · 04/03/2018 22:18

@Moussemoose I'm picking up a vibe that you're not keen on Hotel for Dogs. I could be wrong, but just sense you're not keen?...Grin

froggiemoggie · 04/03/2018 22:19

I can't believe someone said Dunkirk! I loved that film - I could have watched it again straight after.

The worst has to be 'bad neighbours' such shite.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 04/03/2018 22:20

I just remember how I tried to block out The Family Stone, not because it was awful but because it was so bloody banal.

SJP meets VERY rude family of her BF Dermot Mulrone, who basically think she's a bitch because she clears her throat and refuses to hug strangers.

Clare Danes does a Ditzy Fall off a bus, which in Movie World guarantees someone will fall in love with you (because who wants a well put together woman). Lo and behold it's good old Dermot. But it's OK because SJP is getting stoned with Luke Wilson.

I was Confused the whole time

ladybird69 · 04/03/2018 22:21

Worst one ever was Funny people, it wasn’t funny. And cabin in the woods was it a horror or a comedy? Oh and Marley and me....... the dog dies. I nearly stopped breathing cause I was sobbing so hard.

Moussemoose · 04/03/2018 22:21

There was a hotel and dogs lived in it.

Can you get PTSD from a film?

lht22 · 04/03/2018 22:22

When a Stranger Calls - worst film I've ever seen!
Although, I half watched Sisters the other day. It was the only time I've ever felt compelled to write a review on Netflix to warn other people not to watch it!

ArchchancellorsHat · 04/03/2018 22:22

Has anyone mentioned Hallam Foe yet? The main character spent his time climbing about on roofs and spying on people through windows, with a dead badger on his head. I have no idea what it was supposed to be about.

gingergenius · 04/03/2018 22:22

Mousse - I think you might be the first!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 04/03/2018 22:23

Big Momma's House.

I've never walked out of the cinema but I have watched better films made by Hallmark than some of the utter pretentious drivel put out by big studios, like Fear and Loathing and whatever that crap was with a big tree and Rachel Weisz in it.

squoosh · 04/03/2018 22:24

I don't think dogs get enough holidays so I for one applaud a film that promotes canine leisure time.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 04/03/2018 22:25

I nominate the Total Recall remake (the original was ok). It didn't need to be remade, it really didn't need to have Mars taken out of the storyline and it really, really didn't to be entirely plotless. I don't know how it was even possible for it to be without a plot when it was a fecking remake of a film that DID have a plot. Shock
