It has alisonhannigan in and we thought it might be light hearted
It was dire. Utter crap. And I have a high threshold for crap, can watch most rubbish as long as its entertaining

@Saggingninja I have never heard of Sextette before but from that clip you posted I WANT TO SEE MORE. Looks bloody marvellous! Good old Mae, the aged sexpot. Grin

eurochick · 05/03/2018 19:36

That Bjork film was truly dreadful. I persuaded my boyfriend of the time to come to the cinema to see it with me. I'm not sure he ever forgave me.

ArDali1 · 05/03/2018 19:37

Confetti with Martin Freeman, I just can't describe how shit it was.
Norbit was awful, Little Man horrendous.
Cowboys & Aliens, didn't even watch the movie after 20mins in, couldn't believe I wasted my money going to the cinema to watch this.
There's more I'm sure but I'll be here for a while listing them...

BuzzKillington · 05/03/2018 19:45

We walked out of both Titanic and Love Actually.

henryscatoscar · 05/03/2018 19:49

Meet Joe black. I saw it roughly 3 or 4 times before making it to the end without falling asleep. I guess its great if you love Brad pitt and their is a moment where he does an interesting Caribbean accent. more anesthetic than actively making you annoyed you'd wasted your life though

JillApple · 05/03/2018 19:53

The Lobster is the worst film ever. Stuck with it as I thought that it would get better. It didn't. What a waste of my life. ConfusedWould have had more fun cleaning the toilet. Seriously. Wink

PunkrockerGirl59 · 05/03/2018 19:53

Atonement. Several hours I'll never get back and Keira Kneightly at her pouting worst.

MrsJayy · 05/03/2018 19:55

Gawd almighty how pretentious is Atonement every single one of the characters made me want to poke my eyes out

PunkrockerGirl59 · 05/03/2018 20:01

Me too MrsJavy - made me feel very stabby Smile

BeautyQueenFromMars · 05/03/2018 20:04

There are sooo many. But if I had to choose just one, it would be Burn After Reading. Truly awful.

yumyumpoppycat · 05/03/2018 20:05

Just remembered Netflix has some truly truly TERRIBLE films, I usually fall asleep or turn them off, Bright with Will Smith is one - how the fuck did they persuade him to act in it? It's a really boring cop movie where his partner is a blue elf/ Orc. There are a couple of others so bad I can't even remember what they are called.

UnimaginativeUsername · 05/03/2018 20:08

I think Man of Steel may be the worst film I’ve ever seen. It was so long and boring and utterly, utterly joyless.

I watched it with P’s parents afterwards we all admitted that we only sat through it because we assumed the others might be enjoying it. It was classic British behaviour, everyone suffering because they were too polite to say anything in case they upset someone else.

HeyDelRey · 05/03/2018 20:12

Jill - The Lobster is rubbish. It starts out quite funny, then rapidly disappears up its own receptacle.

Worst for me is a toss up between Love Actually - which makes me want to projectile vomit every time I think about it (minus Emma Thompson, who does a very good job) - and Battleshit Ship.

Oh - and the BFG. I fell asleep, thankfully - or maybe my brain couldn't take anymore and gave out? Mark Rylance's hammy gob-rolling shudder

PunkrockerGirl59 · 05/03/2018 20:13

Thanks Beauty
I've been considering Burn After Reading for a while on Amazon prime. I won't bother now!

Haven’t RTFT so sorry if it’s been mentioned but Youth in Revolt is horrific I fell asleep during it.

Date Movie is shite though I never managed to watch all of that either.

cariadlet · 05/03/2018 20:25

I can't believe how many people have said Manchester By The Sea. I thought that the contrast between Casey Affleck's character in the present (cold, doesn't want to interact with anyone, anger problems) and the flashbacks to the character in the past (family man, life and soul of the party) was very intriguing.

The big reveal when we finally found out what had happened to cause the change, and the scene in the police station had me in floods of tears. Which was a bit embarrassing because I was watching the film on a plane.

Coconutspongexo · 05/03/2018 20:26

Also Sex Tape - Cameron Diaz should be ashamed of herself starring in that so so so bad.

Agree with burn after reading!
Leatherheads is terrible too.

Realising how many bad films I’ve wasted time on here

Skippetydoodah · 05/03/2018 20:29

Constantine! I can't even remember why it was so awful just got to the end and shook my head at the two hours I'll never get back.

I'm actually rather upset that someone has mentioned Hugo...thats one of mine and DH's favourite films!

BattleaxeGalactica · 05/03/2018 20:32

Don't think Mad Max: Fury Road has made the list yet.

Why they bothered is beyond both me and the Thunderdome.

gingergenius · 05/03/2018 20:34

@Skippetydoodah two words:

Keanu Reeves

zukiecat · 05/03/2018 20:35

Total Recall with Arnold Swarznegger- XH made me go and see it with him, hated every second of that film

Philadelphia was awful too and I normally love Tom Hanks

Toy Story- Just hated it so much that I've never wanted to see any of the sequels, just so boring and annoying

Balibabe1 · 05/03/2018 20:45

Saving private Ryan....just NO. Late night showing, it went on so long I had sobered up and 10 mins before the end the film snapped 😱.
The manager couldn’t understand my refusal of a repeat free ticket, that was 3 hours of my life I lost!

That Harry Hill film, I walked out after 10 mins and Noah after 20.

minkypinkpants · 05/03/2018 20:53

I fell asleep watching Ransom in the cinema! Definitely the worst film ever. And I am including the Best In Shows in that statement.

MrsJayy · 05/03/2018 21:09

Me too MrsJavy - made me feel very stabby

It was just to irritating
