Date movie.
It has alisonhannigan in and we thought it might be light hearted
It was dire. Utter crap. And I have a high threshold for crap, can watch most rubbish as long as its entertaining

None of you endured The Pokemon movie then?

DS2's choice for a birthday treat back in the day. I had a cold and was granted the blessed gift of sleep all the way though Grin

Linzbe · 05/03/2018 18:36

The Open House.

What a waste of 90 minutes!!!

UnimaginativeUsername · 05/03/2018 18:41

VAN HELSING was AWESOME!

Yes. I can’t believe so many people have said it was the worst film ever. It’s in the incredible shit category of films and incredible shit films are amazing.

Jupiter’s Ascending is also incredible shit. It is awesome.

Orlandointhewilderness · 05/03/2018 18:43

I bought a vampire motorcycle actually.

Certcert · 05/03/2018 18:47

It's always a bloody log cabin by a lake! At night.

😁

shaddupayouface · 05/03/2018 19:01

I once went on a first date and he chose Dumb and Dumber. He laughed like a drain all the way through. Needless to say I never saw him again!

StupideSaucisse · 05/03/2018 19:02

Dinner For Schmucks
Armageddon
Titanic
Grease
Top Gun
The Mummy (all)
Fast & Furious (all)
Pretty Woman
Scream (all)
Love actually
Lord of the Rings (all)

All massive steaming piles of dog shit

yellowbirdie · 05/03/2018 19:09

Jackie - I lasted about 20 mins. It was so dull and that voice made me murderous.

I quite liked the Lobster, it was fantastically surreal.

Certcert · 05/03/2018 19:10
  1. Arrival.

The worst film. Ever. I could have cried with relief when it finished. Was on a date with a boring guy, so couldn't really leg it!

2.Girl on a Train.

Hmm
SomewhatDisgruntled · 05/03/2018 19:12

Feeling Minnesota.

So, so, so, so boring. And I love Keanu Reeves.

amusedbush · 05/03/2018 19:15

Over the Christmas break DH made me watch Scent of a Woman.

What a lot of shite.

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 05/03/2018 19:18

I hate films - never watch them. So long-winded and boring mostly. And if you go to the cinema to see a film, the soundtrack is sooo loud I need my earplugs. I also hate swearing and too much explicit sex - I just do not want to see it on screen!

WheresTheHooferDoofer · 05/03/2018 19:18

Oh yes, 12 Monkeys. One of the few films I've given up on.

I could not make head or tail of that one.

CheeseTheDay · 05/03/2018 19:18

I'm more disappointed when by shit films, that have been hyped up and got rave reviews, and a prime example of this is Avatar. What a let down it was. My feelings towards it are nicely summed up by this pie chart.

We have just watched the worst film ever
CheeseTheDay · 05/03/2018 19:19
  • Oops - random 'when' in there, not sure how that happened, should read 'I'm more disappointed by shit films....'
necklaceofraindrops · 05/03/2018 19:23

Legally Blonde 2

I loved Legally Blonde, so disappointed in the sequel

Betty2416 · 05/03/2018 19:23

The decendants with George Clooney is pants

LemurintheSun · 05/03/2018 19:24

Jason Bourne - latest (or maybe not). Running around. Extreme violence. More running around. More violence. More running around. More violence. ........ & so on to the tedious uncared about end. Saw it with our teenaged DS, who is no Culture Vulture. But even he found it puerile & dull. (I say "even he" because he is presumably the target audience, unlike us parents).

NannyKasey · 05/03/2018 19:25

Titanic - went with a mate and her new BF, - wanted to leave after 20 minutes but couldn't as would have to have walked home Wink

I didn't like Bridesmaids, it just annoyed the hell out of me, had to turn it off after 20 mins.

I liked Mamma Mia!, Love Actually and Grease - though Grease 2 was shite.

Purplealienpuke · 05/03/2018 19:25

I see you all those films and raise you 'Sawney, Flesh of Man'. Utter fucking bollocks!!! It stars Gavin Mitchell of Still Game fame (Boabby) and I can honestly say I've watched some really awful pish in my time (the conjuring, get shorty) but this movie scrapes the bottom of the barrel on every level 😝

Barbara1956 · 05/03/2018 19:28

Decades ago...in the 70's ,yes I am that old !, I went on a first date and sat through a film called 'Looking for Mr Goodbar' or some such thing. It was about a single woman sleeping with lots of men then getting killed by one of them...absolutely shit ,terrible , dire, the worst ever...never saw that bloke againConfused

PunkrockerGirl59 · 05/03/2018 19:33

Yy to Manchester by the Sea. What a pile of pretentious wank.
Moonlight - as above.
Mama Mia. I watched it in total disbelief and just cringed.
Girl on a train - badly made and rubbish acting but on the plus side could be marketed as a cure for insomnia (as could the book, tbf).
Marley and Me - I'd have taken the little fucker to the vet's ...

FuckKnuckle · 05/03/2018 19:34

It has to be Superbad. I KNOW it got good reviews that wibbled on about "coming of age/rite of passage" etc etc, but really?
