The large vegetable samosas from the lunch range are dangerously tasty. I can't go there without buying one, telling myself I'll have it when I get home and then scoffing it the car like an animal Grin

Also any of the salads from the deli, the kale one in particular.

oh and there new blueberry hot cross buns - AMAZING!!!

I need to try these cookie dough bites and the Mexican coleslaw!

CanIhavedessertfirst · 27/02/2018 11:35

@missyB1 not birthday cake, but we got our wedding cake from there and it was beautiful! It was a chocolate one and they do birthday cakes similar. The sponge was really light (and moist) and the ganache was so bloody moreish I ate an entire tier to myself

Lovecats000 · 27/02/2018 11:35

This is what I call a thread...

Chilled veggie samosas
Veggie Deli sarnies
Bircher muesli with pomegranate and blueberries
Veggie moussaka (full fat)
Their garlic baguettes are the most pungent and nicest I reckon
Lemon curd muffins

Basseting · 27/02/2018 11:56

I love their salads esp the nutty whole grain one.
LOVE all their deli stuff.
Dine in for £10 is a real bargain.
sweet - their cakes are good (lemon drizzle and Birthday ones)
apple turnovers

anothersuitcase · 27/02/2018 12:11

They used to do the most amazing treacle tart, never been able to recreate it. They stopped doing it years ago Sad

bastardlyandmutley · 27/02/2018 12:56

Chocolate birthday tray bake. DH and I ate all 16 portions between us in two days.

Strawberry & cream meringues
Rye bread loaf in the bakery
Rainforest salad from the deli bit
Chocolate sponge puddings
Eves pudding
Giant chocolate buttons (most of their chocolate actually)

LilaoftheGreenwood · 27/02/2018 14:09

'ere, have you lot staged a raid on the Beckenham Simply Food? I thought I'd try some of these Iced Spiced Buns of which you speak and they had run out! Still a couple of packets of lemon curd buns though, reduced to 70p.

MaMisled · 27/02/2018 14:15

Their fresh berries are the best. Also their little tins of steak pie filling. Percy Pigs too of course.

IamPickleRick · 27/02/2018 14:24

Because of this thread I am now sitting here with a pack of 16 salted caramel tea cakes! Grin

IamPickleRick · 27/02/2018 14:26

LilaoftheGreenwood they’ve run out?! OMG! Our M&S has more of those than anything else, they must sell them by the hundred everyday!

anxious2017 · 27/02/2018 14:27

What is an Eve's pudding. Don't think we have those in deepest, darkest Wales.

anxious2017 · 27/02/2018 14:28

?

AdaColeman · 27/02/2018 14:34

Prawn cocktail, delicious used to stuff a large ripe tomato.

Harvey Wallbanger, a real taste of the 1980s.

Their tarte citron was fab, but not seen it lately, best of all was their hoi -sin duck wrap, why oh why was it discontinued?

Celticrose · 27/02/2018 14:45

Turkey feast sandwiches (so glad these are now all year round and not just Christmas)
Salted caramel tea cakes
Cheese puffs
Baby peppers stuffed with goat's cheese (Have to restrict myself as these are so moreish)
Red Currant puffs(have not bought these for ages as the temptation to eat them all in one go is too muchShock
Rotisserie chicken(the one you cook) once got 3 of these reduced at £2.40 eachSmile
Coffee eclairs
Red pepper hummus
Now Easter is nearly upon us their Simmel cake( have bought first slab on Thurs done on Sunday)

HelenaJustina · 27/02/2018 14:47

Iced spiced buns

TossDaily · 27/02/2018 14:55

Reading this thread, I suddenly understand porn.

LilaoftheGreenwood · 27/02/2018 14:57

I had to make do with salted caramel hot cross buns and custard tarts instead IamPickleRick.

bananamonkey · 27/02/2018 15:05

On day 2 of a diet and this thread is like porn! I'm loving the sound of the different iced buns and the swiss rolls!

Can't go wrong with their veggie samosa or 3 bean wrap for a grab lunch. Loved the white choc milkshake when I was pregnant. And their pear frangipan tarts or victoria sponge muffins.

TheDuchessofDukeStreet · 27/02/2018 15:30

My mother likes their wenslydale cheese, breaded fish and chicken.
My sister likes Percy pigs and Eve's pudding .
I like salt and vinegar chiplets and cheese tasters in a bowl together, their white grapes, their cheese and ham sandwiches. I also buy their extremely chocolatey caramels to fill home made crackers at Christmas. And those tiny oat biscuits you get one with your hot drink in the cafe but you can purchase them in little bags.
DP likes their potato and egg salads, and their potato rosti cakes.
I like their dine in for £10. Good value if you get a whole chicken to roast and add in a few potatoes/veg to the dinner and a scoop or two of ice cream to the pudding. Then it will feed 4.

sparklepops123 · 27/02/2018 15:32

Their square pizzas in box's the dough is amazing

lostmyslippers · 27/02/2018 16:15

I love their beetroot wrap and Swiss chocolate

FancyNewBeesly · 27/02/2018 16:16

Millionaire Bites in a tub, and their Posh Dogs (in the proper rolls). Best thing ever since Waitrose stopped doing theirs.

Hogtini · 27/02/2018 16:18

Just remembered (how could I forget?!) about the fig and hazelnut loaf from the bakery...oh my days.

NKffffffffd826be10X12327b6cd81 · 27/02/2018 16:19

florentines. to die for. I have been known to drive there especially

yawning801 · 27/02/2018 16:26

Their malty, chewy, sugary bar things. I have no idea what they're called but they're sweet and sticky and chewy and they're amazing! I can only manage half of one at a time though because I'm a lightweight.
