Not to wear knickers in bed?

Not a thread about a thread, as such, but I was very struck by someone on another thread talking about her old bed kickers (as in knickers she wears in bed, not as in knickers worn by her bed). I would have thought it was thoroughly unreasonable to wear knickers of any description in bed (unless they are the type that leads to Things), but AIBU?

Hahaha, fanny spiders 🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷. I feel quite safe as DH also kips in the nuddie so he can smoosh any errant spiders that happen to scuttle along. If we have a fire, fireman will take one look and we’ll be toast 🤣🤣🤣

Do those of you that don't wear knickers in bed change your sheets every day? Surely its unhygienic to have your undercarriage rubbing around all the bed clothes for days on end. I'd feel dirty.

I put on a clean pair under my PJ's (that way I can wear my PJ's for 2 nights... also I have to wear nickers, I get sticky if not

This thead is hilarious! I only wear knickers when on my period. After 36 years of wearing PJs and after a divorce i have found it strangely liberating sleeping with nothing on (i have bought a second duvet though and attached it to my usual one this winter!).

I have also (re)discovered the joys of a hot water bottle since not feeling well this weekend, i had forgotten the loveliness that could be found in a warm cuddle , oh to be nearly 40!!

@Moody 2 nights?? 2 nights WITH the knicker precaution?! I usually wear my PJs 2 weeks at least!

I sleep in the nuddy unless it's very cold, then I wear pj's but no pants. Never had a problem with pj's in my bumcrack or anywhere else they shouldn't be. I don't even wear knickers at night when I'm camping.

I like a bit of fresh air round my fanjo and if the house were to catch fire in the night I'd be more concerned about cramming the dog into the duvet cover and lowering her to safety from the roof of the bay window than I would about a firefighter catching a glimpse of my foof.

DP sleeps naked generally, but when we're camping, he wears a t-shirt and baggy shorts. I think he feels he's not actually indoors, and nudity is bordering on the indecent.

I've no idea what you get up to pinkhorse but I've never found it necessary to rub my undercarriage on my bed, or anywhere else for that matter!

They are loose and as you roll around get all gathered up and go up the crevices.

MrsKoala, yuck, I know! When I've tried to wear PJs I have been known to wake myself up taking them off in the night. They feel so constricting.

Lakie - how do you sit up without your undercarriage touching the sheets? Do you sleep on your front? I sleep in a more stretched out recovery position and my bits defo touch the sheets.

I am a bit puzzled by the unhygienic comments. Don't you people ever have.. sex in bed? Do you have time to wash your bedsheets every single day?

I could never not wear knickers in bed! Even when I was with a fella I'd put them back on 'afterwards'. When I get in from work I can't wait for 'bra off' time but 'knickers off' for bed? No way!

No knicks is bed here! Have brought my DDs to go free too! If I ever do because i'm too tired or had a few drinks then I wake up in the night feeling uncomfy and fling them across the room!

My bits don't touch the sheets either. I wear a night shirt so when I sit up, I sit on that. When I lie down my bum cheeks are on the sheets. They are made of skin like my legs funnily enough and I generally shower before bed so nothing unhygienic.

I'm guessing you knicker clutchers would never consider going commando under clothes? I often have especially in a close fitting dress, just to avoid the VPL but that's probably a whole other thread!

I know ive already commented saying a bit of both.. but its got me thinking. Id like to know how all the "airers" sleep.. pants or no pants im sausage rolled up tight in that duvet all night! To the point my DP often jokes we need 2 duvets cause ive hogged all the shared one.. theres no airing in my bed!

I love reading about other people's habits. Knicker related and non knicker related. I don't know why. It's very interesting. I'd start a thread like this and don't consider myself to be TOO odd

If I dont wear knickers in bed I often have dreams where I have no bottoms on in sitiations that calls for them.

MsHarry if you go commando what happens when you sit down? Don't you wet your dress? Even laying on my back without pants mean things trickle down and i feel all icky.

I don't wear anything and feel all scratchy if I do. And I don't mind telling anyone what I wear to bed.
