I've come out of lurking for my kicking.

Been in my pyjamas all day sitting on the sofa watching every episode of peppa pig known to mankind. That's just how I roll and has nothing to do with the fact the ds has the lurgy and that I haven't had more than 2 minutes to breathe all day

Terfing . I'm swithering about doing one of the maths/science type ones. I'm sure I can fit in some studying during the Jezza Kyle ad breaks.

Oh don't forget me. I'm the worst kind of SAHM - my youngest is 19 . If anyone needs a kicking, it's moi. For I am shamelessly happy and thoroughly love my life, especially when they've all fecked off to work and I can sit cuddling the dog and watching My 600lb life and Hoarders and feel equally skinny and tidy .

Am I too late to present my fat, lazy, pyjama clad arse for a good hard kicking? SAHM, three DDs, youngest aged 8. I do watch tv, but mainly edumacational history programmes so I'm deeply intellectual, obviously.

2 kids in school (which ends at lunchtime in the country I live in, and there's almost no formal childcare available, but I'm sure I could swap favours/borrow someone's granny if I was really determined) and I'm ready for my kicking but I'm hoping to be able to put it off for a while by having an interminable argument about the difference between "unemployed" and "economically inactive".

I'll take a kicking for all of us! It will be worth it for all the times I could do pick up and drop off all the school plays I have watched! If you think I'm being smug you are right.

It's not exclusive to SAHMs though, I've heard people claim that marriage itself is institutionalised prostitution. So any married woman is a sex worker.

Guess all the WOHMs with SAHDs are showing REALLY admirable work ethics!

Don't get me started on this one. It's laughable that people don't know this; it's not some arcane point in economic theory, it's like not knowing the difference between the Bank of England and the TSB. Anybody who reads a serious paper (or even the Daily Fail, for that matter) or even watches the crap TV news cannot fail to be aware of it.....
