Like... one you make when you really can't be bothered or one you have and feel ashamed to eat and would never eat in front of anyone?

Mine is a baked potato, drowned in butter and cheese.... with Princes tinned minced beef and onions on top Blush

I know why... there used to be (still is actually) And baked potato stall in the little town I grew up in and I used to have this every Saturday whilst my mum did the shopping.

However when I make it, even I look at it and think "this is so gross" And DP always looks at me like Confused ... it is delicious though. Would never tell anybody that's what I had for my tea tonight nor woukd I ever ever ever eat tinned mince on anything else (I think i would be sick)

Pasta with tomato puree, affectionately known as "toothpaste pasta". Needs topping with extra mature cheddar cheese. It was my Mum's CBA meal for us when we were kids.

And the one DH gives me a disgusted look for.... 2 Big Macs in a row. 1 just isn't enough... I hang my head in shame.

NoFuckingRoom and MaMisled I believe you can still get Vesta beef risotto in B&M bargains or maybe Poundland...

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 19/02/2018 03:28

Supernoodles and KFC (not together) are my secret shame Blush.

Dh and I are also partial to a Dolmio based lasagna.

mamaryllis · 19/02/2018 03:33

Cool whip, french’s squeeze mustard and kraft single on plastic white bread. Grin
I actually haven’t eaten it for 30 years but it just popped into my head. I never buy any of those four things. Never have. But my friend used to make us these sandwiches every time.

Ickyockycocky · 19/02/2018 03:44

I just cannot believe you lot really eat this stuff. 🤮. My lazy meal is two slices of white bread toast with butter and marmite, boring but true.

Johnnycomelately1 · 19/02/2018 03:50

Pretty much the same as the OP but minus the mince. Jacket potato with skin crisped up with olive oil and salt before baking, with an artery clogging amount of butter, salt and cheddar cheese on top. If I have creme fraiche, even better. Ideally accompanied by trashy tv and DH out.

PyongyangKipperbang · 19/02/2018 03:52

Hot dog sandwich.

Sliced white bread, tinned hot dogs heated in the microwave, american mustard, ketchup (which I hate on anything else) and salt.

I always feel sick after eating it but damn.....there is something about it!

Always eaten alone and if you tell anyone, firstly I will deny it then I will find you and kill you :o

When my sister and I were young and skinny ( the kind of teenage skinny where you could eat anything and still be a size 8.......ahh those were the days!) we would have a McD's "three course meal". We would each have a chicken sandwich, a QP with cheese and a cheeseburger :o

PyongyangKipperbang · 19/02/2018 03:59

Oh and of course a milkshake when they were still called "triple thick" and you sucked your eyeballs back into your head to get it up the straw!

callmekitten · 19/02/2018 04:54

Bread and gravy!

Ooooo! Gravy bread! I had forgotten that. Thick slice of bread, heavily buttered and smothered in gravy. So good!

Oysterbabe · 19/02/2018 06:58

Gravy bread is best with added mint sauce.

This thread was truly wild and I am so glad I started it.

Oxo cube sandwiches might be the winner....

malterbitty · 21/02/2018 00:48

Just in case anyone would like to try an oxo cube sandwich:

Step 1: lightly butter two slices of bread.
Step 2: crumble oxo cube onto buttered side of the bread.
Step 3: place slices of bread together.
Step 4: enjoy the crumbly grossness goodness.

DixieFlatline · 21/02/2018 00:52

Anyone got any other ideas for the hot dogs? I have half a packet leftover from making sausage pasta and I had a fab idea that wasn't noodles and wasn't hotdogs and I can't remember what it was.

I like adding them to chicken fajitas - they add such a great smoky taste.

SneakyGremlins · 21/02/2018 01:09

I put hotdogs in toasties!
