Like... one you make when you really can't be bothered or one you have and feel ashamed to eat and would never eat in front of anyone?

Mine is a baked potato, drowned in butter and cheese.... with Princes tinned minced beef and onions on top Blush

I know why... there used to be (still is actually) And baked potato stall in the little town I grew up in and I used to have this every Saturday whilst my mum did the shopping.

However when I make it, even I look at it and think "this is so gross" And DP always looks at me like Confused ... it is delicious though. Would never tell anybody that's what I had for my tea tonight nor woukd I ever ever ever eat tinned mince on anything else (I think i would be sick)

Pepperoni pizza covered in chips with lashings of salt N vinegar & garlic mayo.

Chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup with chippy chips dipped in.

Burger with bacon, cheese, egg & glazed doughnut as the bun.

I’ve lived a good life.

Quittingthyme · 18/02/2018 23:16

#Andnoneforgretchenweiners. Are you from Coventry??

AngeloMysterioso · 18/02/2018 23:18

Two packets of super noodles- one chicken, one curry- plus half a chicken oxo cube, some mild curry powder and a good shake of paprika. I hate myself for it but it’s so satisfying.

AngeloMysterioso · 18/02/2018 23:22

Or... two packets of instant ramen (chicken or beef) from the Chinese supermarket... fry some tofu and spring onions in sesame oil and soy sauce, add the ramen and flavouring. I eat it from a huuuuge bowl with chopsticks Grin

Heinz tinned ravioli on toasted white bread with grated cheese melted on top.

Steak & kidney Pukka pie with baked beans & brown sauce.

FretYeNot · 18/02/2018 23:41

hot dogs and cheese in a toastie.

Thisimmortalcurl · 18/02/2018 23:53

Tinned haggis on toast and butter with salad cream on one side of the plate and brown sauce on the other.
Haven’t had it for years though.

lecossaise · 18/02/2018 23:54

A cheddar and pickle sandwich... microwaved.

Or quorn cocktail sausages dipped in humous.

Ollivander84 · 18/02/2018 23:57

Left over (heated up) cottage pie on buttered white bread with brown sauce
Corned beef hash, pickled red cabbage and crusty bread

WeirdAndPissedOff · 19/02/2018 00:14

Fish fingers and scrambled egg - discovered by accident when we were skint and pretty much out of food, but now a regular fallback if I can't be arsed to cook and it's only me eating.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 19/02/2018 00:21

quitting damn that batch, I'd be no good at obfuscating Grin

Yes I am a Cov lass.

malterbitty · 19/02/2018 00:37

Blush mine really is gross

Oxo cube sandwich

There, I said it.

iceycage · 19/02/2018 00:40

I'm not sure it's all that gross but I love buying a selection of dips and sitting back with a baguette.
It was one of my hangover "meals" at uni and years on I still love it! Nothing better than a bit o'bread and dip.

I also love plain white rice with cheese and ketchup. And I could eat coleslaw by the spoonful.

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 19/02/2018 00:50

My favourite takes me back to memories of staying at my (late) DDad's flat (before he learned to cook) where he used to make me beef 'grillsteaks' with chips done in the deep fat fryer, loads of salt and vinegar, with a slice of bread & butter. Every so often I get the hankering for it and it brings back memories of him.

DH used to make something that he called "slop" when I first met him. If I remember correctly it was microwave rice, fish fingers, grated cheese & mayonnaise mixed together & often served with bread & butter. I politely declined the offer of it each time.

My DC's absolutely love cheesy Marmite pasta too.

PourMeAGlass · 19/02/2018 01:08

Baked beans and poached egg on toast, covered in grated cheese is my can't be arsed meal, delish!

And the best way to eat coleslaw is straight out the tub, usually hiding in the fridge! Same with hummus, great big spoonfuls of the stuff Smile

correctpiece · 19/02/2018 01:11

Bread and gravy! We had a nanny/housekeeper growing up (mum died) and she used to always mop up her gravy after Sunday lunch with bread. My dad started doing it and so did I!

Has to be real proper gravy though.

ReanimatedSGB · 19/02/2018 01:14

Eugh, barf, you monsters...
I once made a 'meal' in my student days of: stale biscuits that had been kept next to an apple-scented air freshener, Coffee-Mate powered milk and boiling water. Sort of apple-smelling porridge. It was awful but I ate it.

AjasLipstick · 19/02/2018 01:15

Chips from the chippy with bacon and fried egg. This was a wonderful tea from my childhood in the 70s....Friday nights after payday when Mum and Dad were getting ready to go out...no time to cook, so someone would go to the chippy for the chips whilst someone else fried the bacon and eggs.

Glorious!

I still make it about once a month and my DC also love it....terribly unhealthy but we eat well usually!

AjasLipstick · 19/02/2018 01:17

Oh and as a student I used to make a tin of soup but add to it a load of fresh diced vegetables as a way of making it healthier! I'd steam them and throw them in. Was actually nice!

halfwitpicker · 19/02/2018 01:36

Grated cheese and coleslaw sandwiches.

RoseGoldRosie · 19/02/2018 01:39

Super noodles, bacon, cheese and sweetcorn. Grin

HistoriaTrixie · 19/02/2018 02:23

Mine are, funnily enough, both based on macaroni cheese.

#1: Stouffer's macaroni cheese with A-1 steak sauce. Don't knock it till you've tried it, but start off with a light hand on the A-1!

#2. Kraft dinner with a can of tuna mixed in. Peas too, if I'm feeling fancy.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 19/02/2018 02:27

I recently invented an AMAZING thing: a tin of Heinz beans & sausages, made into a toastie in the Breville.

It was absolutely incredible. I made two rounds of it the first time, and ate both of them with DH refused his one. Hmm

I then made it again a couple of days later to test the DC. Sadly I let too much bean juice flow out into the Breville's circuits, as it suddenly went BANG and all the lights went off.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 19/02/2018 02:28

*treat the DC, not test. Although it would've been a test of how healthy they are, I suppose.

It completely broke the (new) Breville. I took that as a sign from the Universe that I needed to eat better.

tobee · 19/02/2018 02:36

I think I like the sound of all of these. Maybe not the Apple air freshener biscuit thing so much though.
