Like... one you make when you really can't be bothered or one you have and feel ashamed to eat and would never eat in front of anyone?

Mine is a baked potato, drowned in butter and cheese.... with Princes tinned minced beef and onions on top Blush

I know why... there used to be (still is actually) And baked potato stall in the little town I grew up in and I used to have this every Saturday whilst my mum did the shopping.

However when I make it, even I look at it and think "this is so gross" And DP always looks at me like Confused ... it is delicious though. Would never tell anybody that's what I had for my tea tonight nor woukd I ever ever ever eat tinned mince on anything else (I think i would be sick)

I mourn the demise of doner kebab pot noodles every day.

EnglishRose13 · 18/02/2018 20:34

Tuna, baked beans and cheese on a jacket potato.

I mourn the demise of doner kebab pot noodles every day.

Those existed? Shock

Alisvolatpropiis · 18/02/2018 20:38

Princes tinned curry.

Stagg dynamite chilli

Tins of beans and sausages.

I actually cook fairly well but those three are my go to’s when I really and truly cannot be arsed.

A dirty croque

So bread buttered on the outside with cheese and ham and a dollop of crem fresh and mustard all mixed in the middle. Fried and served with a fried egg on top and then a swizzle of hot sauce.

Fried- bad
Hot sauce- an obimination to my French familie

SneakyGremlins · 18/02/2018 20:39

Anyone else taking notes Grin

Fried onions in white bread with ketchup

Lovelydovey · 18/02/2018 20:40

And my children adore croque boum boums - a fried ham, cheese and bolognaise sandwich!

Grumpbum · 18/02/2018 20:41

Chicken Supernoodles with melted cheese on top between 2 slices of white bread with butter

StrawberryMummy90 · 18/02/2018 20:41

Some of these are making my mouth water, then I read one that dries it up again.

What a rollercoaster this thread is.

Campbells tinned meatballs in tomatoe sauce with spaghetti and lots of grated cheese.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 18/02/2018 20:43

I also used to ADORE Vesta risotto but alas they are no more & this makes me very very sad Sad

73kittycat73 · 18/02/2018 20:43

A bowl of baked beans, sweetcorn and pickled onions all smothered (Like gravy.) with salad cream. Sometimes just baked beans with the salad cream and mint sauce. Even better with white bread to dip in the sauce. Blush

Cheapo noodles - the Value range type ones that are about 20p - with sardines and a skoosh of olive oil.

I don't eat gluten any more so can't have this, but I make do with rice noodles when the going gets tough and I need my little bowl of noodley fishy goodness.

Vebrithien · 18/02/2018 20:46

Cream of tomato soup with oven chips to dunk! My go-to "feeling poorly" meal.

QforCucumber · 18/02/2018 20:47

Chips, gravy and coleslaw. Homemade coleslaw with chunky cabbage, loads of carrot, only a little onion and a massive dollop of hellmans mayo. Frozen oven chips and bisto gravy

Meandmy4 · 18/02/2018 20:48

Left over, cold shepherds pie but with fresh hot (chicken) gravy launched into slabs of white bread that are already coated in salted butter mayo&wholegrain mustard !😜

sarahC40 · 18/02/2018 20:48

Salad cream (lots and lots...like third of a bottle) on chips, followed by a brown bread, butter and kitkat sandwich.

Supernoodles with Herta hot dogs sliced up and thrown in.

Sainsburys instant mash (much nicer than smash) with full fat Longley Farm cottage cheese (no other type is acceptable, even when eating rubbish, I have standards) and grated cheddar mixed in.

Anyone got any other ideas for the hot dogs? I have half a packet leftover from making sausage pasta and I had a fab idea that wasn't noodles and wasn't hotdogs and I can't remember what it was.

ShatnersBassoon · 18/02/2018 20:51

Cheesy chips with Bisto and mint sauce or jalapenos.

Singlebutmarried · 18/02/2018 20:52
