Like... one you make when you really can't be bothered or one you have and feel ashamed to eat and would never eat in front of anyone?

Mine is a baked potato, drowned in butter and cheese.... with Princes tinned minced beef and onions on top Blush

I know why... there used to be (still is actually) And baked potato stall in the little town I grew up in and I used to have this every Saturday whilst my mum did the shopping.

However when I make it, even I look at it and think "this is so gross" And DP always looks at me like Confused ... it is delicious though. Would never tell anybody that's what I had for my tea tonight nor woukd I ever ever ever eat tinned mince on anything else (I think i would be sick)

Fray bentos S&K pies always have a place in my cupboard . To make it really classy we have them with tinned new potates and tinned marrowfat peas. .
My secret meal though is a vesta chow mein -complete with the crispy noodles with soy sauce dribbled over them.Pure bliss and tastes exactly the same as when I was a teenager and ate them weekly.
Mushroom rice in a pan with half a tin of condensed mushroom soup thinned down with milk to make a dollopy mess. Looks horrific but tastes as near to mushroom risotto as you can expect for a 5 minute cooking job.
Tonight though I had leftover spaghetti with some meatballs that had been in the fridge and needed eating. The sauce on the meatballs had disappeared so it was a pretty dry looking concoction and I didnt fancy just putting butter on it so I just made up some gravy with granules and chucked it over the spaghetti . That really did the trick and I cant think why Ive never tried it before. I love spaghetti and rarely have it because of faffing about with sauces just for me. Ive just found my new go to quickie meal.Smile

Noodle butty.

TeachesOfPeaches · 18/02/2018 20:53

Massive bowl of crispy Birdseye chicken dippers covered in salt and vinegar with mayonnaise

Bambamber · 18/02/2018 20:55

I'm another that enjoys a supernoodle sarnie!

Also chicken nuggets with garlic Peri Peri sauce

MrsJayy · 18/02/2018 20:57

Macaroni cheese with a dollop of brown sauce and a couple slices of pickled beetoot (not even ashamed)

bea179 · 18/02/2018 20:58

We didn't have much money growing up so I always thought pasta covered in gravy and grated cheese was a normal meal! Got a bit older and realised it isn't. It's bloody delicious though, ultimate comfort food. Urge you all to try Grin

SugarPlumLairy · 18/02/2018 20:58

Toasted sarnie. Bottom slice of white bread has peanut butter, then thin sliced red onions, capers, bacon, cheese and top slice is buttered then covered in marmalade. Squish it into toaster and eat when cheese is oozing out of sides.
Bloody lush 😍

Cold curry sandwich..... For breakfast!

mumtomaxwell · 18/02/2018 20:59

Supernoodle sandwiches were a staple of my university diet - I still love them 20 years later.

I recently discovered a new favourite dirty meal... Uncle Bens golden vegetable rice with one scrambled egg stirred through it. Takes 2 mins and is the most delicious thing ever. I add soy sauce if I’m feeling posh!

Hastalapasta · 18/02/2018 21:00

Toasted pita, spread with fresh basil pesto, stuffed with grated cheddar and fried mushrooms. Food of the gods! Cannot be eaten in front of the inlaws...Grin

MaMisled · 18/02/2018 21:01

Rustlers BBQ Rib Burger with slice of processed cheese and mayo with Cheesey Wotsits crunched inside.

DwangelaForever · 18/02/2018 21:01

Bacon super noodles with red sauce mixed in and a chopped up pepperami 😍

TieDyedBumhole · 18/02/2018 21:02

Obscene amount of pasta with a tin of tomato soup poured over and then an obscene amount of grated cheese on top 😋

SeaToSki · 18/02/2018 21:03

Tinned chicken in white sauce over boil in the bag white rice, stirred together until the chicken is just strings and heated very hot. Looks like something that some animal sicked up, but if I eat it with my eyes closed it takes me right back to childhood holidays

Rachie1973 · 18/02/2018 21:04

A whole bag of Hamwiches :(

I always feel sick after 4 or 5 but can't help myself.

BangPippleGo · 18/02/2018 21:04

DH and I are partial to stacked potato waffles topped with supernoodles and cheese. Takes us back to our unemployed youth!

MaMisled · 18/02/2018 21:04

Nofuckingroomonmybroom......Oh my God!!! My mum and I ate vesta beef risotto with spaghetti and cheese on top! It was magnificent! !!!

lashestans · 18/02/2018 21:04

Pasta mixed with dairylea cheese and either smoked sausage or pepperami

Pasta mixed with half a tub of Philadelphia and a can of either tomato or chicken condensed soup.... creamiest pasta ever!!

My partner is horrified that me and my son love these

spidereye · 18/02/2018 21:05

Raw super noodles, better than crisps

Notsoaccidentproneanymore · 18/02/2018 21:05

Tinned spaghetti hoops with chopped quorn hot dogs mixed in.

Pref on toast with butter and grated cheese on top.

SaucyJack · 18/02/2018 21:05

Bombay Bad Boy pot noodle with sweet chilli dipping sauce, and as much hot chilli sauce as it takes to make it borderline inedible.

Feel the burn!

VileyRose · 18/02/2018 21:06

I eat loads of these! Not embarrassed though as don't care if people come over and think I am weird or lazy!

Love a left over lasagne sarnie
Pasta and gravy
Chips, bbq sauce and cheese
I love a bowl of tinned toms mixed with a tin of beans
Smash and cranberry sauce

jainaproudm · 18/02/2018 21:07

Supernoodles with cut up chicken dippers, grated cheese, a shit load of black pepper and ketchup.

MuncheysMummy · 18/02/2018 21:08

Tonight we had... proper home made chips on squishy white bread buttered with real butter with ham and fried (in a magic non stick no oil pan, Oh the irony!) egg sandwiches with ketchup on for tea once DS 20 months was in bed Blush he had scrambled egg, wholemeal toast and fruit for his tea Wink

TartanMamma · 18/02/2018 21:08

Smash mashed potato, corned beef and baked beans all mashed up together, looks like vomit, tastes divine, lol
