I have complex health. Been feeling just not right recently, really tired and generally unwell so gp requested bloods to be done yesterday.
I've had a phone call saying I need to come in and see a dr today. I said I can't until tomorrow but they insisted today so I'm going at 5.10pm.

I have bloods regularly and they've never rang me to come in the next day even when they've been abnormal so why would they now?
They wouldn't tell me over the phone

My mum had problems with her spine which is why the hospital had to use her hip. She also had AML which unfortunately didn't go into remission it just reverted to MDS and the hospital felt it was necessary to do regular checcks on her bone marrow.

Her symptons were similar in some ways to yours and in other totally different so I'm not in any way comparing the treatment she had with the treatment you'll be getting. I just remember the tests were painful.

onalongsabbatical · 25/02/2018 18:16

Good luck, OP. You're very young to be struggling like this, I hope they can diagnose something and treat it and your life gets better. It's horrible having chronic ill-health, and especially when you have children to look after. Flowers

EmbarrassingTroubles · 26/02/2018 11:58

Thank you all for the well wishes, so kind of you. I am so so nervous. DC are with childminder; just waiting on taxi, have to be there at 1. Going by myself - think DP is fed up of all these health things that keep happening, oh well - positive thinking!

Good luck OP, thinking of you today Thanks

mikeyssister · 26/02/2018 12:27

We're all thinking about you. Hopefully, they'll ask you to hang on today and give you the results. They did that to my mum and she was convinced it was going to be bad news but it wasn't.

italiancortado · 26/02/2018 12:31

Hope all goes well today

Backscratchesforever · 26/02/2018 12:47

LittleMe03 · 26/02/2018 13:48

Good luck OP Thanks and tell your DP that you haven't chosen to have health issues, he should be much more supportive of you and should have gone with you today if you wanted him there xx

GirlsBlouse17 · 26/02/2018 16:03

Hi Embarrassing been thinking of you. Hope you are okay xx

EmbarrassingTroubles · 27/02/2018 09:19

Thank you all ❤ especially girlsblouse and mikeyssister who've been on the thread the whole time. Sorry if I've missed anyone, on the app and my memory is shocking.
A bit sore today. Feel reassured that it could be a number of things and not necessarily the thing everyone fears! But everyone I've come in to contact with won't say.

My mum was told immediately that she had AML, so I'd like to think that they're still ruling things out for you Embarassing which is good news.

Sorry you're feeling sore, but glad it's not more than that. My thoughts and prayers (hope that doesn't insult you) are with you while you wait for the test results.

EmbarrassingTroubles · 27/02/2018 17:32

I will take prayers - no offence caused.

I'm so unbelievably itchy the last 24 hrs. No rashes etc so not sure why? What can I do to help it? It's driving me mad :( anyone have any ideas?

GirlsBlouse17 · 27/02/2018 20:51

Hi Embarrassing So pleased they are still saying it could be a number of things. You have been on my mind the last few days. Been worried. You are in my thoughts and prayers too and hope that you will be okay. Keep us updated! xx

Efrig · 27/02/2018 21:04

The itchiness might be related to your liver problem.

GirlsBlouse17 · 27/02/2018 21:08

Did the hospital give you or put you on any medication?
