When I heard that Katie Hopkins was heading down to South Africa, I nearly through up. I felt sick to the stomach. And then I thought, well if she's going for a Safari, it's not so bad. ( we do encourage tourism to help with conservation and jobs).
It turned out that that was not the case. Ms Hopkins visit to South Africa is to make a documentary for the farmers, " who are being terrorised by the blacks and being robbed of their rightful land". ( words by Ms Hopkins).

A petition was started to refuse her entry, however for some reason, she made it.
This morning I heard she collapsed after taking some drug, lord knows for what. She was saved by health workers some of them BLACK South Africans. I wonder what she thought of that!

For a woman who referred to black people as roaches among other sickening racist garbage to enter South Africa and speak and act as she wishes is quite frankly sickening.

I am angry and I know I speak for many. Angry

Why am I a nutter Helmet? (genuine question). Everybody seems so angry at life these days and so horrible to people. Why can't we all try to get along ? Im not a great fan of Katie Hopkins, but we are discussing her which is what she wants! So it sorts of defeats the OPs objective!

Eltonjohnssyrup · 05/02/2018 16:00

She had extremely bad epilepsy and brain surgery for it. She fitted daily and regularly dislocated her limbs in the process so still has problems with dislocations because of the history even the the epilepsy is cured. Apparently she suffered a dislocation so was given medical ketamine.

What she said about the final solution was horrific and she deserved sacking.

The murder of white farmers is concerning though. Isn't it a particular extremist group? The same one that attacked H&M over the monkey sweatshirt advert?

Helmetbymidnight · 05/02/2018 16:05

Oh I love that- 'why can't we all try to get along' Sad alongside 'why don't we turn this into a debate about Kate McCann'?

pepperpot99 · 05/02/2018 16:25

What on earth is a "libtard snowflake"?Confused

Helmetbymidnight · 05/02/2018 16:27

I think it's how racists refer to non-racists.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 05/02/2018 16:44

South Africa is such a mess isn't it? It's hard to find sympathy for a group of people who have historically been oppressers though. Though i have to say that the individual white South Africans I have met who have fled to Britain have been very decent people. It is probably easier to feel sympathy for individuals.

Eltonjohnssyrup · 05/02/2018 17:10

South Africa is probably a country which could do with some sort of redistributive tax system. Something I am not normally in favour of. They've never dealt with the skewed distribution of wealth caused by Apartheid.

Killing and chasing farmers away doesn't work as we saw in Zimbabwe. There has to be another way.

callmeadoctor · 05/02/2018 17:37

Helmet, you are missing my point. What if Katie Hopkins name was replaced by say.... Diane Abbot? Would this thread still remain. That was the point I was trying to make (obviously not totally clear enough Grin.

Blackteadrinker77 · 05/02/2018 17:58

This thread plays right in to her hands

Riverside2 · 05/02/2018 18:07

pepperpot99 "Her children regularly receive death threats"

wow, that's worse than I would guess.

It must be weird though, if your DC said they wanted to be friends with her DC, what would you do? Of course the children of people like Hopkins and Giles Coren can't help their parents - but in reality it must make it really hard for them to make friends, especially at primary level when parents are heavily involved.

Helmetbymidnight · 05/02/2018 18:23

I'm still not getting the point. Also why Kate McCann or Dianne abbot? I don't get why they're comparable.

BashStreetKid · 05/02/2018 19:04

Interesting question, Riverside. I guess I wouldn't stop my children being friends with her children, but I would categorically refuse any invitations for them to go to her house. I'd be happy to invite them to mine, if only to give them a break from their mother.

VanillaSugar · 05/02/2018 19:05

Why are you bringing Giles Coren into it?! Shock

maxthemartian · 05/02/2018 19:16

It was the EFF who protested at H&M. They are a political party not an extremist group and no indication of any direct involvement in farm murders although they are given to making inflammatory statements.

Riverside2 · 05/02/2018 19:27

Vanilla, it's just another example of the sort of person who makes me think - would you let your DC be friends with their DC, on the basis that at some point, you'd have to deal with the parent?

Then again, I'm the wrong colour for Katie Hopkins to talk to.....

stardust18 · 05/02/2018 19:35

She's a disgusting excuse for a human being Angry

RebeccaBunchLawyer · 05/02/2018 20:16

Hello guys,

Katie Hopkins really does have many talking about her here in the UK. We quite like her back in my home country as an intriguing character (Germany) but she’s really hated here, isn’t she?!

Fekko · 05/02/2018 20:16

Do you want her?

VanillaSugar · 05/02/2018 20:27

Lol @fekko

kalapattar · 05/02/2018 20:57

What if Katie Hopkins name was replaced by say.... Diane Abbot

Last time I checked, Diane Abbot wasn't spreading hate online?

Whereas Hatie Katie spreads hate to many people. In her own way.

midsomermurderess · 05/02/2018 21:20

But Katie Hopkins isn’t Diane Abbot, she is a rabble-rousing rent-a-gob whom people dislike for good reasons. In many respects she is reaping what she has sown.

ForalltheSaints · 05/02/2018 21:28

I feel very sorry for her children. No-one should have a parent like her.

PaiMeisWhiteEyebrows · 06/02/2018 06:09

@TabbyMack She said migrants were like cockroaches in that they can & do survive anything.

Dear God, I hope you're not personally saying migrants can and do survive anything?! Surely all those corpses floating in the Mediterranean would indicate otherwise....

BashStreetKid · 06/02/2018 07:21

If I were German, I'm not sure I'd want to make it public that my countrymen quite liked a right-wing, hate merchant who does not believe we should treat people of different races and religion as human beings.

Eltonjohnssyrup · 06/02/2018 07:48

Just looked up the EFF and they are a 'revolutionary socialist party'. Supported by Mugabe's ZANU PF and militarily organised.

So yes, they are extremists.
