When I heard that Katie Hopkins was heading down to South Africa, I nearly through up. I felt sick to the stomach. And then I thought, well if she's going for a Safari, it's not so bad. ( we do encourage tourism to help with conservation and jobs).
It turned out that that was not the case. Ms Hopkins visit to South Africa is to make a documentary for the farmers, " who are being terrorised by the blacks and being robbed of their rightful land". ( words by Ms Hopkins).

A petition was started to refuse her entry, however for some reason, she made it.
This morning I heard she collapsed after taking some drug, lord knows for what. She was saved by health workers some of them BLACK South Africans. I wonder what she thought of that!

For a woman who referred to black people as roaches among other sickening racist garbage to enter South Africa and speak and act as she wishes is quite frankly sickening.

I am angry and I know I speak for many.

She should absolutely not be allowed a voice, an opinion or to make any shows whatsoever.
All of these privileges should be reserved for the left wing elements of society alone.

Well, if we're going to say that seizing land by force makes it OK to keep the land and pass on down the generations . . . surely current white farmers having their land seized have nothing to complain about? After all, seizing land by force is OK, so they should be happy to stick to the rules. They won a few generations ago, and now they've lost. All's fair & that.

OR - we could say that forcibly seizing and & murdering the inhabitants is a Bad Thing, and people who profited from that should hand the land back. In which case, the white farmers should be handing the land back (but without the violence they inflicted on the people they stole the land from).

So, whichever is your preferred way of looking at this, the white farmers should probably do one.

There's no justification for saying that it was legal & great for white people to steal land and murder people, but now we're going to change the rules and say that it's finder's keepers and no-one lived there.

Btw The SA government has stated they don’t want white people there. & they are being murdered at ridiculously high rates, I worked with someone who moved here (uk) about 3 years ago after his SIL was shot dead on her doorstep. He’d been carjacked at gunpoint twice at this point aswell.
However, I find her views are too one sided & inflammatory. I did however find the documentary Reggie Yates did on white slums in SA quite interesting, whilst it’s not the same subject it was still quite surprising.

Why is it that whenever people bring up the subject of racism they dismiss the fact that their could ever be hatred or racism against white people.

Can you give any examples of racism against white people? Personally I've never experienced it or have been aware of it (as a white person). Hatred/dislike is not necessarily the same as racism.

This is very interesting. Presumably Europeans could say the same about Africans that now live in their countries? Or doesn't it work both ways? Do people have homelands that they have rights to or are we "all one race the human race" with no national borders?

Questions... Are white farmers being murdered? Is this an organised phenomenon? Is there state involvement? What kind of people (MNers) can shrug their shoulders about these murders, which by all accounts involve horrific sexual violence and the torture of children, and act like the victims deserve it for the colour of their skin?

So how do you define racism then? is it not based on a hatred for someone Purley because of their colour?

What you are spouting was taught in SA schools, along with lots of other nonsense, things like only white people can be doctors, that apartheid was ordained by God.

None of mine business, but I don't think it makes sense to expect the Boers to leave South Africa, but I do think it is a country with great inequality still, and inequality breeds violence. So, for everyone's sake, there needs to be land reform.
