Can't stand his beard any longer!

I know s lot of ladies love a man with a beard and find it sexy but I'm just not one of them.
OH has had a beard for like 3 years now, and I'm not talking stubble it's a full on big wirey beard and I just hate it, I can't enjoy kissing him and it's actually affecting our sex life.
He knows how I feel but loves his beard it's like his comfort blanket.
AIBU to ask him to cut it? Or do you think I should just accept him how he is and try and see past it?

A pixie crop doesn't hurt my DH and leave his skin sore - I don't know why so many posters are making this argument. It's simply not comparable.

I had a perfume once that DH turned out to be allergic to. I didn't bloody well keep wearing it just because I liked it and I wouldn't put up with DH having a beard that made me look like I'd run through a nettle patch after kissing him.

My bf grew a beard after we met cos I got a terrible kissing rash, even if he had shaved right before a date! By Christmas he looked like Santa Claus! I bought him A Beard Grooming set for Christmas, but he did have his own too. He got it trimmed at the Barbers last week & I prefer it shorter...I think he will grow it long again though. Before I met him I thought I wouldn't like kissing a beard but I do. Ex hubby grew a tash every November & I hated that. I'd tell my fella what I liked best but wouldnt make demands about what he does with his face. I wouldn't want him demanding how I should have my hair.

Oral with a beard is just fine.

If the beard is looked after & is soft it's not scratchy anywhere on your body.

Imagine he was asking you to shave your foof? Or cut all your hair off?

Leave him be.

If he won't shave it buy him beard oil and make him use conditioner on it - trust me it works hubby has a beard!

I think beards look dirty and silly. My opinion. Others think differently. Luckily for him, my dh agrees with me.

My earliest memory is going to Barry Island and screaming my head off because the car park attendant (I'm very old) had a beard. I'm with you, OP. If DH ever grew a beard, I'd divorce him.

I find beards repulsive too, I can't help it, but they make me shudder. Ugh.

My DP wanted to grow a beard but luckily (as I absolutely hate beards) it grew in very grey and he decided it made him look too old.

He also had DD(10) telling him that he was "spikey" and had to shave. I think he's probably more likely to listen to what she says than me when it comes to facial hair!

Totally with you they are rank. And what is it with the bushy beard trend going on.
