Just that. What time do you all get up in the morning?

I get up at 6am and it's always a struggle as I seem to be a night owl

Up 5 mornings at 4.45 for work very tiring by the 4 to 5 day

Sharkofdestruction · 30/01/2018 18:20

7 am (give or take half an hour) shower in the evening, lunches made and in the fridge whilst making dinner, clothes out for the next day (hang them up in sets so just grab a coat hanger). Always have at least one child wake me in the night though!

BitchQueen90 · 30/01/2018 18:21

6am. School is actually only a 10 minute walk away so I get up 2 and a half hours before we need to leave but I am an early bird and like to do things in the morning - ironing uniform, washing and blow drying my hair etc. I'm just too lethargic in the evenings and seem to function much better in the mornings.

I work 10-2 so get to do the school runs either side. DS age 4;goes to bed at 7pm and I'm usually in bed by 9pm, 10 at the very latest.

rogue8 · 30/01/2018 18:21

6:15 alarm. Up by 6:30 and DH & DC1 out the door at 7. DH drops DC1 at school bus stop enroute to work. DC2 has to be coaxed out of bed from 7:15 onwards. Occasional piano practice before school in the mornings. Out the door for school run 2 at 8:20. Not looking forward to Sept when DC2 starts secondary and needs to get up earlier to catch the school bus.

BatFaceGal · 30/01/2018 18:26

7.45 which gives us an hour to be at school which is a 5 minute or so drive away.

School uniform out the night before, bath and hair wash the night before, bag all packed and water bottle and packed lunch in fridge ready to go. I also work from home so I can get ready when I’ve dropped him off.

Pompom42 · 30/01/2018 18:27

I get up at 3:10am as have to be in work for 4am. I do 4am-8am or 4am-10am shift. When I get up I normally don’t feel tired but as the day goes on I feel so tired. In bed by 9pm usually.

TimeforCupcakes · 30/01/2018 18:30

4am winter or summet. I'm a teacher so use that time to wade through my marking. I leave the house at 6.50 and drop DD at childminder's then get into work at 7.30

Thebluedog · 30/01/2018 18:31

6am as both my DC’s are early risers, we don’t go downstairs until they are both washed, teeth cleaned, hair brushed and dressed and it’s after 7. They’d want to go down at 5am if I let them

maddiemookins16mum · 30/01/2018 18:32

Commute days - 0445.
WFH days - 0610 (but I can lie in sometimes until gone 7am if DH is off).

TheDailyMailLovesTheEUReally · 30/01/2018 18:36

On the days when I have to go into the office, up at 5.20am and out the door at 6am. On the days when I am based at home, up at 6.30am.

Ihatepompoussoccermums · 30/01/2018 18:37

On the 4 days IWork at 8 I get up at 6, the 1 day I start at 9 I get up at 6.45. I generally have no issues to get up even though I don’t go to bed till around midnight. I can survive on 5 hours sleep. I usually catch up on the weekend when I don’t usually wake until after 9. Luckily DS sorts himself out and the DD usually goes to my Nan’s room.

Turnocks34 · 30/01/2018 18:38

5.30am normally, I like to be in school by 6.30am although the early wake up is mainly because that's what time my kids get up at

speakout · 30/01/2018 18:39

Up at 6am, seven days a week.
I love early mornings.

But I go to bed at 9 pm- because I enjoy mornings more than I do late evenings.

ThreeDaysAWeek · 30/01/2018 18:40

Up at 6am I have breakfast/shower/get dressed, DD up at 6.45am, dressed and out the door for 7.15 to get DD to Nursery for 7.30, start work at 8.15am. DD has breakfast at Nursery.

speakout · 30/01/2018 18:41

Although I get up at 6am I don't need to leave the house until 8.15am.
On Sundays I usually go to the supermarket by 8.30 am, it's lovely and quiet, and all the bread freshly baked,

Ladiva1971 · 30/01/2018 18:43

I set alarm for 10am as I start work at 2pm, so I have time to do shizzles before I leave

mumof3boys33 · 30/01/2018 18:47

Not many on here that like early mornings! I set my alarm for 6.40am once it is light in the morns I am usually downstairs making tea or lunches before alarm. But this time of year I’m asleep.
Why is it...Monday to Friday the alarm wakes me up from being sound asleep, then Sat morn no alarm is set and I’ll wake at 5.30-6am and can’t get back to sleep? It happens every weekend. Really pisses me off.

Alwayscommuting · 30/01/2018 18:48

I don’t drive so I get a bus and 2 trains to work. I’ve got the morning routine down so I get up at 6:00 our the door by 6:35 to be at work for just before 9. I’m contrast when the traffic is much better on a Saturday morning I can go a slightly different route and leave the house at 7:30 and still be at work for the same time.

MsHarry · 30/01/2018 18:53

6.45. leave house at 8. DDs leave after me and walk 10 mins to school. in my 40s now and I have now trained myself. I was awful in my 20s, always hitting the snooze button then running around like a crazy thing to get out of the house. These days I make packed lunches before bed, wash hair if I need to before bed too. Life is better.

saladdays66 · 30/01/2018 18:53

6.30. Dd gets the bus to school at 7.15.

At the weekends I can happily sleep until 10. So can dd.

MadameJosephine · 30/01/2018 18:55

Alarm goes off 6.30 but we get up about 6.40. Luckily I live close to school so leave the house about 7.50 to get to school by 8 and to work by 8.20

MsHarry · 30/01/2018 18:55

Commute days - 0445 I don't think I could do that, it's middle of the night for me!

IcelandicWarriors · 30/01/2018 18:56

5 am when I am off to the office (leave at 545) and 630 when WFH. I find getting up at 5 far easier for some reason, at 630 I feel like crying.

I get really tired in the evenings.

CheeseandFickles · 30/01/2018 18:58

6am here, out by 7.

I've never met a person who does enjoy early mornings. It does make me feel slightly better when I see neighbours up switching their lights on at the same time, makes it seem less of an ungodly hour. So it's nice to know so many of you are up early too.

Flisspaps · 30/01/2018 19:02

7-7.30am, leave house 8.20 for school drop off. Back by 8.35am, leave for work 8.45/8.50am.

7 minute commute.
