To vote Tory in the next election?

I've lost all hope of any rationality coming out of JC and Labour.

I feel like my biological existence is being wiped out.

I already feel completely bereft that the future of the female/girls/women will likely continue to be ruled and overruled by the patriarchy.

'YABVU to decide in 2018 who you plan to vote for in 2022.' ybvu to think the next election in 2022 the local elections area few months away

suzy2b · 28/01/2018 21:34

I would have never in my life vote for labor, but there is no way i want conservatives to stay in power unfortunately where i live it is always conservative don't know why but if they stay in power we will have no NHS

Julie8008 · 28/01/2018 21:35

Unless you want Corbyn and the hard left Momentum to get into power, the only way to stop them is to vote Tory. Anything else and it will be the end of our country as we know it. Last person to leave the country dont worry about turning the lights out as Corbyn wont be able to afford the bill, so they will go out anyway.

The OP mentioned Jeremy Corbyn...last I checked local area elections didn’t have a bearing on who was PM.

windchimesabotage · 28/01/2018 21:37

YABVU I mean im a labour voter I admit that and I dont agree with your sentiments about JC... even if I totally agreed with your views to then go and vote Tory is a MASSIVE leap...... Tory policies are generally terrible for women. They made a pact with the DUP to stay in power for gods sake, if that doesnt tell you they dont give two shits about women I dont know what does.

BusyBeez99 · 28/01/2018 21:38

OP please vote Tory to keep Comrade Corbyn out

ShellyBoobs · 28/01/2018 21:41

YANBU, OP.

Can you just imagine the utter fuckwits that Labour now comprises getting their hands on the running of the country.

God help us.

Well then current incumbents aren’t covering themselves with glory.

BrownLiverSpot · 28/01/2018 21:44

You vote for the party you think will be the best for you. Tories have been good for some women but I would say more and more women are being disadvantaged by their policies. If you're happy with that then yes vote for them.

bluebells1 · 28/01/2018 21:44

Vote away. Way better than voting for the clueless and headless momentum/militant union run Labour.

DiegoMadonna · 28/01/2018 21:44

Choosing between Labour and Tory is like choosing between Coke and Pepsi. You may prefer one over the other, but they're really the same thing. So no point making a huge deal over the decision.

CoolCarrie · 28/01/2018 21:44

Corbyn will be put as leader long before the next election, and hopefully the next Labour leader will sort the bloody lot out. Someone like the late Jo Cox. She would have been a brilliant leader, and a great PM.

Samcro · 28/01/2018 21:45

Vote for who you like
Just pray that you or your child never become disabled under this lot

CoolCarrie · 28/01/2018 21:45

That was supposed to say put out as leader!

Seniorcitizen1 · 28/01/2018 21:46

Somerford- are you and your ilk going to come for me in the middle of the night for speaking the truth!

bluelion23 · 28/01/2018 21:49

'The OP mentioned Jeremy Corbyn...last I checked local area elections didn’t have a bearing on who was PM.' true but they do say how well the electorate thinks of the parties and by extension their leaders

LadyBoyXy · 28/01/2018 21:51

I absolutely detest what the Tories are doing to the NHS. I'm very much left to centre, though can't see past Labour's blind following of the hard left and gender self ID.

I fear I have no option in trying to stop this nonsense. The Tories response (minimal as it is) seems far more balanced than momentum's Labour's. Regardless if they brought it through, I highly doubt Tory MPs (and hopefully rational Labour MPs) will vote self ID through.

YABU

Creambun2 · 28/01/2018 21:58

anyone who votes tory should hang their heads in shame

windchimesabotage · 28/01/2018 21:59

Do you honestly care more about self ID than you do about the state of the NHS???

ginghambox · 28/01/2018 22:03

YANBU.
Good to see Corbyns kinder politics is alive and well on this thread.Hmm

hamburgers · 28/01/2018 22:04

I think yabu. I have in the past voted Tory but no way anymore - May is a wet lettuce, Brexit is a shambles, and their monumental fuck up with universal credit has showed their true colours.
On the other hand, I can't see myself voting labour either.

I'm politically homeless and will likely spoil my ballot.

Cantshedmymuffintop · 28/01/2018 22:05

I'm assuming this is a joke post or you just don't watch the news. The Tories are beyond shocking right now! TM is weak beyond, BJ is running amock and should be fired. JH is a disgrace upon the NHS. DD can't negotiate for toffee and well let's face it DC got us into this Brexit mess before toddling off and leaving us all in the poop. Need I go on?!

ShellyBoobs · 28/01/2018 22:06

anyone who votes tory should hang their heads in shame

Oh fuck off.

WhendoIgetadayoff · 28/01/2018 22:08

I assume you men in local elections this year in which case yes you are for all reasons said by everyone here. But there are more choices than just labour and you might have independents in council elections.

Though on issue of gender id then all GB parties are agreed. And what’s proposed is to simplify the processes from an existing Act. There is an Act from about 13 years ago that gives people right to change gender in birth certificate. What’s being proposed is simplifying the process - in line with many other countries.
