Why do I find Phillip and Holly so annoying!!

So, just caught the last bit of This Morning and is it just me or have they become really smug lately? Their egos are through the roof and the way they try and find something really funny and burst out laughing is getting a bit tiresome. These hilarious innuendos or slip of the tongues are not set up at all by them or the production team boring. They can never top Fern Britton's 'see you don't mind dunking a bit of beef' gaff, much as they try.

I do prefer Eamonn and Ruth, much more humble and in touch with the viewers.

I can't stand the breathless reports of how disgusted or shocked Phil and Holly were by controversial guests on their show. As though they're some kind of moral barometer, leading and guiding the viewing public. Who gives a hoot for the opinion of two mediocre tv presenters?

I think they're ace! The few clips I have seen have made me laugh out loud 😊 But then I also like Miranda and MBB.. so my 'hilarity' borometer may be skewed..

LK is annoying too. Not watched or heard her in decades , but she still annoys me! She isnt blond or silly, but just always there. They need new people ( or less ads)

Half the time that I'm off work and have ITV on in the morning and Lorraine comes on she's not even presenting it!

Yes I remember the lady on the phone to Richard, Judy and Denise whose husband locked her in her house. Denise was such a lovely lady, I believe she helped the lady off air and she did manage to escape the relationship.

I loved Richard and Judy. So comforting. Never watch TM these days

Can't stand Holly and Phil presenting TM and just can't watch it when they're on. Much prefer Eamonn and Ruth, they are real and far better at interviewing than the plastic, vacuous Holly and Phil. Every time I switch on the telly Holly and Phil seem to be on it. Please ITV think of the viewers and give us a break from these 2. Surely to goodness they have more talented presenters they can use. And I find the way Phil presents himself as the Scofe so annoying as if he thinks it's cool and down with the kids. Loved TM with Richard and Judy. Please someone bring them back!

I was wondering if its better watching an actual married couple as they don't pander to each other as much. They're not scared of disagreeing with each other. Makes it a lot more interesting to watch imo

I think it's more the R&J and Ruth and Ramon (more Ruth) don't pander to the lowest common denominator. They are intelligent, trained journalists and aren't afraid to be seen as grown ups. Holly strikes me as a silly giggly schoolgirl even though she is a mother of 3 and Phil is just patronising.
