The picture has been removed now. Is this thread amusing enough to go back 6 pages or not bother?

Shoppingwithmother · 24/01/2018 13:49

Someone parked a mini in between 2 P&C spaces

PeaceandLove

At 12.44 you stated it was the car seat
At 12.48 you justified blocking the mini in because you had had problems with being unable to get in your car before.
At no time on your post of 12.44 did you state that you were unable to get in your car.
Not being a mind reader, I asked a legitimate question.
You sound angry.
Ironic username btw considering how rude your response was.

gobbin · 24/01/2018 13:50

Presume your legs work. 14 years ago you could have parked at the far end of the car park and walked, like people had to do before parent and child places. Like my friend does, who has a posh car and doesn’t want it to get scratched.

It takes seconds to get a baby friendly trolley (yes, it’s perfectly ok to leave baby in the car sleeping for three minutes) and wheel them from the back of the car park. Such a non-event, and who employed you as parking police?!

Only disabled spaces are statutory, PnC spaces are the gift of the store and non-enforceable.

I posted this at 12:59
Today 12:59 PeaceLoveAndDixie
I've other times climbed through the boot but I'd just had an episiotomy. Someone helpfully suggested I leave the car seat unattended in the road and reverse. Even if that were a sensible suggestion I couldn't even squeeze in either side.

Please people don’t do this, don’t be parking nazis. I once had photos Of my car posted on a local Facebook site for “bad parking”. I was having one of the worst days of my life. It was petty and mean.

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2018 13:59

I missed the photo so I have done an artistic, very realistic and absolutely to scale diagram of what I believed to have happened.

Is it correct?

yourhavingagiraffee · 24/01/2018 14:00

Seriously, get a grip.

JenniferL90 · 24/01/2018 14:03

@honeydragon

That is exactly correct...

Except the blue and red cars aren't there and the OP has a 14y not a baby.....

JenniferL90 · 24/01/2018 14:03

P.S. - AMAZING art!!

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2018 14:04

Then how did the car prevent access, if no cars were either side? Confused

TheImprobableGirl · 24/01/2018 14:04

I think OP is in a car honeydragon
I shall give that diagram a B+

TheImprobableGirl · 24/01/2018 14:05

yes well... nobody was preventing access - just OP making a mountain out of a mini as it were

BishBoshBashBop · 24/01/2018 14:06

Then how did the car prevent access, if no cars were either side?

@HoneyDragon She wanted to tell them off for someone blocking her in 14 years ago. Shock

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2018 14:06

Can I have a recap. Irtft but I am illing. If the op was in the car behind how is she trapped with the baby outside the car?

Do I have to go back and read it again?

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2018 14:08

Ooooooooooh. So I can hit the next parking vigilante I meet in the jaw even if it’s not the bastard from nineteen years ago?

SashaSashays · 24/01/2018 14:08

You are DELUDED!

People know they are being inconsiderate, they don't need you to point it out to them so they can change their ways, because as is the very nature of being inconsiderate THEY KNOW AND THEY DON'T CARE!!!!

Ok great. You posted something at 12.59. And something else a few minutes later. But still I was confused. That is allowed, isn’t it? The posts are mounting up pretty quickly. I’m not just reading yours.

Isthatwhatdemonsdo · 24/01/2018 14:16

Can't see the photo as it's been edited. OP. Pick your battles, or one day you might end up confronting the wrong person and get yourself a punch in the face.

PositivelyPERF · 24/01/2018 14:19

Uncanny honey! It’s like looking at a photograph! 😲

Now, be fair posters! The OP has already explained she had previously been forced to stand with a tiny baby, in a car park. Can you imagine what that just have been like? How distressing that would be for a mother and child with no way of getting out of the cold? It wasn’t as if there was a nice warm shop to wait in! 😢 Oh wait! 🤔😏walks away embarrassed for OP

AnnieAnoniMouse · 24/01/2018 14:22

FUCK SAKE.

‘Talk me down. URGENT’

On a parenting forum, and it’s about someone parking inconsiderately?

Grow up. If you must post random, inconsequential, pathetic shit, please don’t put attention grabbing titles. Honestly, are you THAT hard of thinking?

paxillin · 24/01/2018 14:25

Our local Tesco had a customer who was voluntarily policing the bread aisle the other day. She told me I should take a loaf from the front, because its sell-buy date is soonest and it "wouldn't be fair" otherwise. I imagine I met OP.
