In Sainsbury's car park. I've just parked in front of this Mini so they can't leave before I've said my piece Shock

Let it go

BadlyParkedRangeRover · 24/01/2018 12:42

WHY would you do that?Confused

LizzieMacQueen · 24/01/2018 12:42

Perhaps the mini was squeezed between 2 legitimately parked cars in the P&C spaces.

Drama much.

FilledSoda · 24/01/2018 12:43

Ffs
So what ?
Is this your biggest problem right now ?
I wish it were mind

zen1 · 24/01/2018 12:44

If you park in front of it, won't you then be blocking the road?

FilledSoda · 24/01/2018 12:44

Mine

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 12:44

Yes clearly lighthearted, I realise it's not the end of the world. I'm cross because there is a half empty car park for the Mini but only a few parent spaces, they've parked there because it's closer. Most of the time I don't bother making a fuss but today I don't have anything better to do, my baby is asleep in the back of the car and I just wanted to politely point out how unbelievably inconsiderate it is to park like that. Several years ago I was stranded in a supermarket car park for ages because I couldn't get my eldest's car seat back in to the car because of someone doing this to me. They don't consider for a second that someone with a hungry newborn might not need to be stood in the freezing cold for half an hour waiting for them.
Anyway, woman returned and told me sorry but she was in a rush and I just told her that she may have prevented someone with a baby who was also in a rush from being able to park. No nastiness.

Sorry op you sound like a bit of a bunny boiler.. just leave it. It's not as if the place is mobbed and you can't get a space because of them.

Is this what people do with their lives these days...

pinkyredrose · 24/01/2018 12:47

What's your problem? You had a half empty car park to use. Parent n child spaces are merely a courtesy not a right, they're not legally enforceable.

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 12:47

No I wasn't blocking the road. If cars were parked in the spaces it makes her even more inconsiderate to prevent them from getting back in.

Because I've parked in normal spaces before and not been able to get back in.

DesignedForLife · 24/01/2018 12:48

Seriously? The parent spaces are so big there that no one is going to struggle. I've done smaller gaps whilst heavily pregnant and battling a toddler.

Time for a cup of tea.

Nicknacky · 24/01/2018 12:49

Why on earth would you care enough to chastise someone for bad parking? No one was prevented from feeding their new born!

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 12:49

I also hope he decks you for being a twat.
Aren't you nice Hmm I was very civil and moved immediately

Did you imagine we’d all be going “go OP, go”

How embarrassing for you.

I think you’re being an utter drama llama. And actually really daft and a bit nasty.

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 12:51

Yes, this time nobody was inconvenienced. Still doesn't stop her being an inconsiderate arse and hopefully she'll think twice before doing it again. Not sure why people are being so unpleasant.

OP posts:
lololove · 24/01/2018 12:51

Pick your battles.

It's busy, it's not worth it. It could have been a genuine accident or it could have been because of someone elses parking and they've driven away.

It's really not worth it. Why give yourself the stress to feel the moral high ground on something that doesn't matter? You're the one causing the obstruction, not them.

restbiterepeat · 24/01/2018 12:52

Walk away, op. this is a shitstorm in the making for no good reason. Go home, have tea, breathe.

Theresnonamesleft · 24/01/2018 12:53

Stranded for ages. Really? Because you couldn't get the car seat back in the car. Wow.

Nicknacky · 24/01/2018 12:53

There is no point potentially getting into an argument with someone over such a minor issue no matter how "polite" you think you are being.

Alittleconcerned1980 · 24/01/2018 12:53

Grow out of this kind of pettiness before your baby grows up and sees you behaving like this.

BishBoshBashBop · 24/01/2018 12:54

Well aren't you clever. Hmm

YetAnotherSpartacus · 24/01/2018 12:54

Someone did this to my parents once. My father was on Warfarin and it was a warm day. My mother suffers from emphysema and has chronic arthritis. Neither qualified for a blue badge. The bitch that went for them was practically frothing at the mouth. My mother calmly explained that in her day she walked to the shops through multiple pregnancies and with multiple children in tow and that she knew which was harder and that the women concerned was welcome to her health conditions.

rocketgirl22 · 24/01/2018 12:55

They could have just lost their mother to cancer, really it is NOT down to you to police the world.
