In Sainsbury's car park. I've just parked in front of this Mini so they can't leave before I've said my piece Shock

C'mon people! Yes some people are having a shit day, but there's plenty of parking twats alive and kicking.

DerelictWreck · 24/01/2018 13:04

I'm with you OP - I'd have parked in the space next to their drivers door - so close they can't get back in again :)

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 13:04

Why the fuck would anyone stand in the cold with a newborn for half an hour if they have a car? because some twat prevented me getting in my car!

SchrodingersFrilledLizard · 24/01/2018 13:06

This is not a hill to die on, OP.

cookiedough1 · 24/01/2018 13:06

But you were using that in connection with thoughtless parkers like above.

Rebeccaslicker · 24/01/2018 13:06

When this makes the Daily Fail, the owner is going to be thrilled to see her registration plate in the pic!

LadyHonoriaDedlock · 24/01/2018 13:06

If it gets you that riled up, get a bike with a baby seat/tandem then you can park loads closer to the shop. Or get the bus.

Yogagirl123 · 24/01/2018 13:07

peacelove, eh? oh the irony!

Shoppingwithmother · 24/01/2018 13:07

I think you’re getting a hard time OP, they deserve to be told!

I cannot imagine any likely formation of cars previously parked that would lead them to have to park like that.

Post it on You Park Like a C**t as well for good measure!

PS Is that Sainsbury’s at Cheshire Oaks?

Lilmisskittykat · 24/01/2018 13:07

Nikephorus - thanks I wasn't sure how to

beautifulpheasant · 24/01/2018 13:07

Looking at the photo a bit closer. I think I live in the same town! Fancy a coffee OP?

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 13:08

I really can't work out why you were upset. There is more than enough space for a car to park in the space on the left and get a baby in and out. So there would be their car and the mini parked in two spaces which is perfectly fine.
I can't believe you made up a random parent with a starving child. Do you often imagine unbelievable crisis situations and accost strangers with them? Your ability to catastrophise is rather worrying.
There was no issue on this occasion. It was not an imaginary hungry baby, it was my hungry baby 14yrs ago when I didn't have the confidence I do now to say something.

What was the 'Talk me down-Urgent' about?

Anyone new to the thread will need a diagram as the photo has been removed now.

JacquesHammer · 24/01/2018 13:09

The newborn I was stranded with is now 14yrs and has many times seen me stand up for other people thanks

Christ on a bike that’s some grudge

Get some stickers and save your breath www.obscenitycards.com/stop-parking-like-a-cunt-stickers

If car seats is such a problem I don’t understand why people just get baby wheels that mean you can leave the car seat in the car. Especially if you’re the type to splatter the walls when you explode in indignation.

Blackteadrinker77 · 24/01/2018 13:10

It was 14 years ago.

Maybe some counselling is called for to help you get over it?

Alittleconcerned1980 · 24/01/2018 13:11

You’re really embarrassing yourself OP!

Mummyoflittledragon · 24/01/2018 13:11

Some twat prevented you or your newborn with their seat?

I’d have taken the child out of the seat, put the seat in the boot, parked in a wider space and put child and seat in the correct place.

CaramelEmporium · 24/01/2018 13:12

I don't know why the OP is getting such a hard time...I'm kind of glad there's people like you about who are prepared to say something to entitled sorts who park like idiots. Might make them think the next time.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 24/01/2018 13:12

14 years ago? Are you pulling our pissers?

WelcomeToThePartyPal · 24/01/2018 13:13

You climbed in through the boot? This seems to have happened to you a lot, OP. Have you considered that maybe YOU'RE the one who has trouble parking Grin

I can't believe you waited for the driver to come back. You have far too much time on your hands. And a massive ego.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 24/01/2018 13:13

Might make them think the next time.

Doubt it. If anything they will probably carry on parking there.

newrandomname · 24/01/2018 13:14

I’d have taken the child out of the seat, put the seat in the boot, parked in a wider space and put child and seat in the correct place.
I couldn't get in the car, RTFT ffs!

OP posts:
MushyPeasAndPie · 24/01/2018 13:14

If this is for real you do need to consider that it isn't in your remit to chastise anyone's parking unless you are a parking warden or the police etc. Report it to the supermarket yes.

I would also be concerned that the person you confronted was not a nice person and would react badly.
