Reminds me of my favourite Hillary Clinton story though. A staffer read a story out to her which alleged she had 'Had sex with a colleague'. It's a very common allegation but for some reason this one particularly upset Hillary. She started to weep and ask 'How can the press make up such awful lies about me'. Her staff were perplexed.

Until on further investigation they realised she had misheard the allegations as 'Had sex with a collie'.
