As above (at the risk of sounding tin foil hat) and if we're not, what the hell is going on in the world, what's causing it?

Well sourced water doesn't mean cryptosporidium, E. Coli & Listeria, there's no need for dramatics.

Falmer · 23/01/2018 14:23

Snowdrop for us it suddenly changed. Childrens rights and obtaining help for them, just vanished. (Apart from Ipsea). Re your questions 1) feel the same. 2) I don't bother with the media lately, but yes same as you. 3) yes, did turn to conspiracists for a short time for those reasons, but left as it mostly seemed to far fetched. 4) hasn't happened yet but I'm sure blackberry will disagree Grin Hope you enjoyed your lie down.Smile

Lots of oestrogen in tap water though. Apparently from birth control, but hormones are very delicate and I question sometimes whether it's been put in.

Sound like a tin-foiler, but men have been getting more effeminate before my eyes. Testosterone levels in men have dropped dramatically over the last 50 years. By about 50% if I correctly recall. You have to have seriously low test for doctors to provide TRT, much harder than for a woman wanting HRT.
Now lots of men think they're women.

I wonder who might benefit from nations without fighting men?

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 14:27

Plus all the plastics and carcinogens.
The powder all over receipts, BPA, the chemicals stuffed into most things we eat.
It's now literally impossible to live a life in avoidance of things that have the potential to kill you.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 14:31

Cringing at my triple post, but my theory?
Us plebs have always been a useful source of labour to "them" in charge. A powerful elite has kept us alive and through wages, gives us just enough money to pay rent, eat and stay productive - without gaining too much wealth, and thus freedom and power.

Now everything's becoming automated.
They don't need our labour anymore. We use their precious oil, there's too many of us eating their food.
They can get a machine to replace most of us. Machines don't drain resources like we do.

And now we have no use to them; they want us gone.

Eltonjohnssyrup · 23/01/2018 14:35

Not is, but that there are still 3 years to royally fuck up the place

Ahem. Booming economy?

Aside from that, I really do like debating with you Lweji. You make me think.

Vitalogy · 23/01/2018 14:56

Testosterone levels in men have dropped dramatically over the last 50 years. By about 50% if I correctly recall. This has helped towards population control which the powers that be want.

whooptifeckindo · 23/01/2018 15:20

Instead of developing greater stress about out The Man is Fucking You Over, why not look to something more simple like growing your own veg. You don't need a Croft or frankly even a garden to produce some of your own stuff that no one "controls" but you. Heritage seeds, rainwater, your own compost. Try it.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 15:39

@whoop already do. And more.
Grow my own veg, with my own compost, get drinking water in glass bottles from next door's filtered and tested spring, have a pig (Peppa) currently being fattened in the back garden and chickens for eggs.
Make all my own cleaning products with vinegar/bicarb/essential oils. Ditto with shampoo, soap etc.
Don't watch TV, I won't be brainwashed.

Still can't fully avoid things though.
Still breathing polluted air.
Don't know anyone else lucky enough to not have to choose between fluoride and oestrogen laced water from the tap, or from BPA laced bottled water.
Still eat food with poisons in every time I go to a friend's house, for instance. (Though I'd never dream of saying anything, of course).
DD's school is school dinners only, so she still gets food with crap in once a day, from a plastic tray.

Can't avoid being watched on CCTV every time you go to town, or avoid having every computer keystroke recorded and stored.
Can still be arrested for saying certain things.

Still have to pay taxes that fund bombs to drop on children, or that go straight into the hands of corrupt third world governments. If you don't pay, you're locked up.

You can shrug and say I'm mad all you like, we are not free.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 15:54

To add to that, even without a TV I still get someone sent by the government demanding to come into my house and check that I don't approx once every 6 months.

To have the guns I hunt and feed my family with, I have to have a license and allow the police into my house at any time to check they're stored correctly, even without a warrant.
Every freedom involves trading in another freedom - I can hunt my food and avoid chemicals, but I lose the freedom to shut the door on nosey police without a warrant.

I could never legally arm myself against the government if I wanted to, yet they can use my tax money to buy themselves weapons that could turn on me at any time.
The idea that there's hardly any gun crime because we outlawed guns is absurd. The countryside is armed to its teeth with legal shotguns and firearms, never any issues. Illegal guns run rife in the inner cities, and cause problems.
Why can't we be armed against a potentially tyrannical government, I wonder?

It's paternalism, any freedom we have is "allowed" by somebody higher up, and could be "disallowed" at any point.

This thread is a paranoid's dream!!

Lots of weed smokers are into conspiracy theories.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 16:07

@strawberriesaregood call me a misogynist all you like. I couldn't beat your average man in hand to hand combat and you're painfully naive if you think you could.
Men are built to hunt and to fight. Women are not.
You've got as much chance against a physically fit male as my OH has at making enough milk come out of his nipples to feed a child.

Xenoestrogens in tap water and in milk. And in plastics. Doesn't have to be oestrogen to act like it.

Theoretical I know, but I'd rather avoid it. Testosterone levels are undeniably decreasing, it's being caused by something.

Tender - "Us plebs have always been a useful source of labour to "them" in charge"

ah, but there's still no sign of anyone wanting to do anything about overpopulation despite forthcoming automation.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 16:22

As increased oestrogen causes weight gain, how do you know obesity is the cause and not the consequence?

Who allows the fertilisers to be used and sold? When so much is disallowed, an allowance of something so destructive is telling.

@snowdrop18 increased oestrogen in males decreases fertility. It also decreases fertility in women if oestrogen is too high.
Is nothing really being done to curtail population growth?
There's an article in the paper almost every day about the selfishness of procreation in an overpopulated world.
On why women should have a career first, and a child second when they're older and less fertile.
On why men should have vasectomies.

It's subtle for now, but it's there.

tendergreenbean · 23/01/2018 16:30

@strawberriesaregood the Falklands? Iraq? Hand to hand combat is inevitable in almost every war. We're not doing it all by plane, drone, ship and sniper.

@strawberriesaregood even if the oestrogen in tap water is coming from a "natural" source, it's not an insurmountable problem to remove this extra oestrogen from water. Oestrogen is very delicate and can be affectively neutralised quite easily.
Yet we don't do this, nor do we provide adequate TRT for those affected.

Manure has always been used, but it hasn't always been a problem.
You do at least admit that the oestrogen is present, and is damaging.

I'm not saying there's a planned mass poisoning, just that the problem is being conveniently ignored.

Yes, a government might want its citizens weaker so they cannot physically fight against tyranny.
