Last meal request.
Mine would be a huge bowl of beef flavor koka noodles with buttered bread,

Boxing Day dinner but lots of courses so it takes ages to eatWink
Smoked salmon to start, Cold turkey/beef, a huge pile of homemade bubble & squeeze, pickles for main and Christmas pudding and extra thick cream, cheese and biscuits to finish.

All served with the appropriate wine and lots of it so I was well and truly pissed when my time was up.

MichaelBendfaster · 22/01/2018 13:10

What's a rice biscuit from Greggs, halfwit?

movinonup · 22/01/2018 14:09

I'd have beef wellington with wild mushroom risotto and garlic green beans.
Followed by either tiramisu or the baileys creme brulee I had from Walts at disneyland Paris....Fuck it! I'll have both :)
Washed down with a fine Malbec.

skinnyicecream · 22/01/2018 14:50

sandwich packed with bacon and with lashings of brown sauce on white buttered bread!! A nice cup of tea to follow...in fact i want it now!!!

Feilin · 22/01/2018 14:53

My mums apple pie with whipped fresh cream. A large bottle of chianti. Perfect.

wendywhite · 22/01/2018 14:54

Home made lasagne, chips, coleslaw & garlic bread !

Are we only having 1 course?

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 22/01/2018 14:58

I hope not. I fancy Feilin’s mum’s apple pie with whipped cream for dessert! Yumm! Grin

MichaelBendfaster · 22/01/2018 15:06

You can have as many courses as you like, wendy!

RockinRobinTweets · 22/01/2018 15:09

Krug

missmouse101 · 22/01/2018 15:12

Cheesy garlic bread, spaghetti carbonara, coconut and passionfruit pannacotta. Elderflower cordial and my darling friend The Bear to share it with. And a big box of tissues because I would miss him so much when I'd be gone.

Gazelda · 22/01/2018 15:15

I'd ask for a hot and cold buffet. I'll post later with detailed dishes, but one of them will certainly be trifle.

FloydOnThePull · 22/01/2018 15:18

So much champagne that being put to death the following morning was a welcome release from the hangover

And a few dozen oysters

morningconstitutional2017 · 22/01/2018 15:46

For starter I'd choose scallops in cheese and white wine sauce.
My main would be an assiette de fruits de mer, I love this and of course you take your time with it.

My pudding would 'floating islands' - nice and light.

Speciality coffee to follow?
A friend has simply said that she'd choose something which would take a long time to eat.

Atalune · 22/01/2018 15:57

DH and I have discussed this at length-

Starter- mussels in a light cream sauce with garlic, white wine and shallots
Main- fillet steak, medium rare, bernaise sauce, potatoe dauphinois, green beans almondene.
Pudding- crem brûlée

If cold champagne to start, and a full bodied, top note worth of berry and oak rich Rioja with the steak then more ice cold champagne to finish.

Then a joint. Smile

NobodysChild · 22/01/2018 16:08

Homemade steak pie, where the meat just melts in your mouth. Served with mashed potatoes and boiled white cabbage. This is my death row dinner.

SaltAndPeppaPig · 22/01/2018 16:09

Deep-fried Brie with red currant jelly and salad, grilled goats cheese and salad - for starter

Then I'd have a pizza from my local kebab shop with extra cheese and either chicken shish or fajita chicken with salad, wraps and wee pots of guacamole, garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce.

Not too keen on puddings, so maybe a pavlova or lemon meringue pie.

Lots of beer and spliffs for before during and after 😬✌🏻

SaltAndPeppaPig · 22/01/2018 16:10

Oh I'll need some salt n pepper chicken thrown in there too GrinWink

wendywhite · 22/01/2018 16:22

This is easy if it’s the whole death row dinner I’ve had this planned for ages !

Battered mushrooms with pate in batter deep fried to start, with garlic mayo.

Lasagne, garlic bread, coleslaw & chips.

Pavlova, ice cream & cream.

Washed down with some dark fruits.

Gazelda · 22/01/2018 17:28

Amuse bouche - blinis
Starter - meze
Main course - double portion of Pizza Express Pollo Pesto
Dessert - a trio of panna cotta, trifle, key lime pie
Champagne throughout
A lovely latte to wind down with, possibly with a drop of armaretto

Basseting · 22/01/2018 19:27

Platter of Fruits de Mer accompanied by cold Champagne

Steak, bearnaise sauce, potatoes dauphinoise, rocket, tomato salad
accompanied by a peppery Shiraz

Tarte au Citron, Pot au chocolate
Espresso with a Cognac

and a wafer thin mint!

(burp!)

WhooooAmI24601 · 22/01/2018 19:29

Moules frites to start
Chilli beef ramen from Wagamamas for the main
Trifle, home made by MIL for afters (which I would eat all of even if it gave me the bellyache)
Orangina to drink (with three cubes of ice exactly)

Grumpbum · 22/01/2018 19:42

Baked Camembert with thick white bread to dip and scoop.

All the roast meats with Yorkshire’s, roasties, cauliflower cheese, carrots and peas and lush gravy

Creme brûlée with a side of fantastic coffee ice cream

Cheese platter

Bottle pouilly fume

Coffee

x2boys · 22/01/2018 19:43

Vodka lots and lots of vodka I get terrible. Anxiety sickness so I wouldn't be able to eat Sad

Oysterbabe · 22/01/2018 19:46

Roast lamb with mint sauce and a nice red.

BlackberryandNettle · 22/01/2018 21:38

One of those melted camemberts with crusty bread for a starter. Thai salmon fishcakes and spicy noodles for main. Tiramisu for pudding. Then coffee and champagne truffles. All with Chardonnay.
