Hi all, very long time lurker, first time poster because something is really playing on my mind.

Normally very very careful with contraception, but I'm worried because of what happened a week ago.

Me and DP were messing around and the long and short of it is he "pleasured me digitally" (snort) with "spermy fingers". God sorry for the TMI.

I checked the app i use to track my period and that was apparently in my fertile window.

Can you put my mind at rest - its unlikely for that to cause pregnancy, right? But how unlikely? Like super unlikely or just unlikely?

The child created as a result of such conception could only be named Tom Thumb or Thumbelina.

How long ago did it happen? Even if more than 5 days if u don’t want to get pregnant u might still be able to get an emergency coil fitted, depending on your menstrual cycle. It’s non hormonal & the most reliable emergency method, but obviously more invasive. Once fitted though, you could keep is as a reliable ongoing contraception for up to 10 years.
Only takes 1 sperm for conception & as others have said they swim up (& are also in pre cum - friend pregnant by withdrawal but that’s another story!).
If you’re early to mid thirties, about a 30% risk of pregnancy. If it’s already 10 days since, you might pick up an early pregnancy on a test.

This thread has made me realise that I know two of DC's classmates are withdrawal babies. I do remember some of my parents friends concieved their first child as teenaged (Catholic) virgins because the story was Retold as A Warning. Now I say friends, they lived up the road and were part of the babysitting circle - they were not close. I do not know how the telling of the conception story came about but I do know that everyone must have known. Poor kid! Absolutely not impossible. PH would have harmed a few, temp might have harmed a few others and the lesser amount of total goop would have an impact in numbers which makes it less likely. But, it's in the right place at the right time.
