Hello, everyone, spent yesterday a bit puzzled that no-one seemed to have posted on the Trump thread I was watching since the night before last; I worried this was a sign that the end of the world was nigh, so I actually looked at the thread this morning and realised it was already at 1,000 (it seems to have gone particularly fast, at warp speed, in fact ) and finally came and found you just now!

That "Stable Genius Act" thing is just so weird, in so many ways. Much like the rest of this whole nightmare we have all been sharing for over a year..

I think I read (Seth?) that Simpson emphasised they do due diligence ie. check if there is anything in someone's background that might cause concern. They don't commit to any specific findings. So if there is no dirt they won't find it. Obviously in Trump's case it wasn't buried too far beneath the surface.

It's weird that everyone knows what he's like and yet there is this huge conspiracy of silence.

How has publication of the dossier been received in the US?
