To think MMHQ are more trigger happy these days?

Not a TAAT as such - more about moderation in general.

Is it just me or are MN much quicker to delete threads these days?

There have been a few examples recently where the thread had taken an odd turn - but which could have been solved by deletions or posdibly even a stern but the whole thread has been pulled, despite the thread containing useful advice.

Is this a new policy? Or are there a couple of new mods who are more likely to pull threads?

AIBU to think this is happening and it's a shame if so?

Out of 16"Threads I'm on, 7 are now deleted. That seems like a lot to me.

It's very noticeable to me too, my TIO seems to have at least 3 deleted threads on at any time, it used to be the exception, now it's a more than once a day occurance

No it's definitely not. I just had a look there and there's threads about a woman "who needs raping" and "sluts". Vile altogether.

What you describe is similar to what a troll posted here on MN some weeks ago. Sadly, such trolls can appear anywhere.

There were sock puppets. I can't quite remember it all.

If moderation is quicker, is this not a good thing? Given the legitimate concerns about some other social networks?

Mumof56 - Assuming you have nothing to do with the pathetic trolls posting girls' pictures here and over there: Did you really not understand that those posts were the work of a spammy troll, deleted over there just like over here?

A lot of step parenting ones seems to get deleted. Any idea why ?
