Just asked OH what his favourite chocolate bar of all time is. His answer: Fry’s Turkish Delight.
I’m not sure I can date someone who ranks that higher than the likes of Dairy Milk, Boost or Galaxy!

@juneybean I like to dip a Twirl finger in a mug of hot chocolate so it melts slightly. Better than sex!

My wife loves Fry's Turkish Delight. When she is a bit down it is an almost guaranteed way of lifting her spirits - especially if I bring her several bars. Not my favourite but... No, I am not leaving her whatever anybody thinks of her chocolate preferences!

I think you are both very unreasonable for liking this stuff that isn't even chocolate.

If it's less than 60% cocoa solids, keep it away from me. I like my chocolate as dark as my soul. Or my coffee, at a pinch.

@pointythings I had some 90% dark chocolate earlier and it was far too bitter for me. My taste buds are very unsophisticated when it comes to chocs. I even love Milky Bars which are basically pure sugar

Are you kidding? Cadbury's was taken over by an American firm. stuffed with palm oil and god knows what and now tastes like shit. Not sure if that's better or worse than Hershey Bars tasting of vomit [boak]

I love a 3 pack of Ferrero Rocher. Although our local shop is a Budgens so has all kinds of very random things!

I di like fry's Turkish delight but it isn't a Chocolate bar is it? There isn't enough chocolate for that!

YABVU I love Frye's Turkish Delight and the Chocolate creams too. Cadbury has been ruined by Craft.

No no no, this is why DH and I have managed to stay together, our conflicting love of different chocolates means we never eat each other's and harmony ensues in our house

I love Turkish delight! But the proper stuff...hate it covered in chocolate.

At least with the Turkish Delight you get something edible inside, with the Cadbury shite you get just claggy palm oil and sugar, no actual chocolate. Even if the covering on the Turkish Delight isn't great either.

Although...I am a bit partial to Turkish delight. Prefer the ridiculously chewy stuff in a wooden box that gives off a huge puff of icing sugar when you open it...but Fry's can hit the spot sometimes too.

For the dark chocolate lovers, try Pacari. I think it is the most awarded chocolate in the world and ticks all the boxes in terms of being organic, ethical, vegan etc. Plus it's delicious

If we have chocolates than the Turkish Delight is always left til last. When I have been really desperate I have taken It and sucked the chocolate off and thrown the nasty perfumy middle bit in the bin.
