Surely now is the time for a vote of utter no confidence in Theresa May. AIBU to think she and those around her are utterly incompetent and making Britain a laughing stock around the globe?

That doesn't answer my question, again, but then, I didn't really expect you to do it.

WitchesHatRim · 06/12/2017 11:03

Boris Johnson is American

He may have been born in America however to be an MP he has to be a British citizen.

makeourfuture · 06/12/2017 11:24

To many it was the right it made sense and they voted for it under Cameron/Osborne it was their main objective to get the economy balanced

They voted for Brexit too.

Vox populi, vox Dei

Justanotherlurker · 06/12/2017 11:39

They voted for Brexit too.

They, all those labour supporters as well? do you think Brexit splits down party lines, you're showing your ignorance again.

I suppose they are all fine when they vote for labour in the GE?

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 06/12/2017 11:42

Oh dear are you not aware of how many on the left have been very critical of the EU

Not many people believe Corbyn voted remain I certainly don’t

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/12/2017 11:54

No, of course all labour voters are good, honest Remainers and all Conservative voters are bloodthirsty, ignorant anti immigrant Leavers.

In makebelieve land.

makeourfuture · 06/12/2017 11:55

The overwhelming majority of Labour voters voted remain.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/12/2017 11:56

Corbyn included?

In your dreams.

MissionItsPossible · 06/12/2017 11:58

make Do you actually read other people's posts or just bulldoze through political threads spouting your own?

shhhfastasleep · 06/12/2017 12:05

If the overwhelming majority of Labour voters voted Remain and Labour is more popular than the Tories, why did Leavers win?
You need to make an appointment with the real world, make. The one in which the Dear Leader did fuck all to stop Brexit.

Iwanttobe8stoneagain · 06/12/2017 12:11

No cos then we will end up with a country run by the unelected momentum with puppet Corbyn at the healm.

shhhfastasleep · 06/12/2017 12:17

TM makes me shake my head in disgust and swear at the shitness. JC and his crew scare me.

makeourfuture · 06/12/2017 12:18

Jeremy Corbyn is on the record as having voted remain. And has said he would vote the same again.

shhhfastasleep · 06/12/2017 12:19

I wouldn't trust him to tell me my height and weight.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/12/2017 12:24

Well, he certainly ran a very convincing Remain Campaign too, in your imagination.

makeourfuture · 06/12/2017 12:26

Theresa May, however, has changed her stance.

WitchesHatRim · 06/12/2017 12:27

Jeremy Corbyn is on the record as having voted remain.

Well as it's a secret ballot no he isn't.

Theresa May, however, has changed her stance.

Have you forgotten JC voting history with regards to the EU, have you forgotten the Labour manifesto promising to end FOM?

You really are selective in what you see.

raisinsarenottheonlyfruit · 06/12/2017 13:09

I don't understand why people are so scarde of Labour.

The Tories are utterly useless. They don't have a plan. David Davis has admitted they haven't done sector impact assessments. Why on earth not? They have no idea what they are doing. But this doesn't surprise me as Tory ministers have made it plain they don't care for evidence or experts. Outside of Brexit, we've seen lots of evidence of policy decisions based on personal predjudice, arrogance or greed rather than evidence-driven policy making. Why should Brexit be any diffferent?

I trust Labour to be significantly more diligent about planning, negotiating and letting the rest of us know WTF is going on. I also trust them to try to get a deal that suits us, the people who live in the UK - not one that benefits those who want to profit from us.

Keir Stanmer strikes me as someone you can have confidence in. He does things properly, he's not driven by arrogance or buffonery. David Davies and his cronies are a joke.

raisinsarenottheonlyfruit · 06/12/2017 13:25

Ed Miliband yesterday:

"What an absolutely ludicrous, incompetent, absurd, make it up as you go along, couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery bunch of jokers there are running the government at the most critical time in a generation for the country."

Absolutely.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/12/2017 13:27

People aren't scared of Labour.

Proper are scared of the Corbyn/McDonnell/Momentum madness.

raisinsarenottheonlyfruit · 06/12/2017 13:33

People are scared of the Corbyn/McDonnell/Momentum madness

How could it be any more mad than this?!

They have a party behind them who are on our side, at least.

The Tories are not on our side. They are on the side of greed, self interest and corporate power. They are taking this country to the dogs. They have no plan.

sinceyouask · 06/12/2017 13:44

People are scared of the Corbyn/McDonnell/Momentum madness

Oh come on, what is the current situation if not madness?
