To be devastated with my new carpet

Had a new carpet fitted on my landing and stairs today. It looked darker in the shop than it looks on my stairs. So it's a mid/light grey. But it looks blue. I hate it. I'm devastated. We can't afford to buy another carpet so I was wondering if there was anything we could do to tone down the blueness. We have off white walls throughout and light oak laminate in the hall. It looks fine upstairs but on the actual stairs it looks hideous. Any ideas?

If it helps you feel better OP, I got a new stair carpet earlier this year which I love, but which is ruined already as the cat catches her claws in it on the way up and has created massive pulls on every stair. So it could be worse.

Looks grey on my phone but the bottom needs to be tidied up. Hope it grows on you OP! If not then try some previous suggestions i.e. carpet dye and repainting.

Try an orangey light. Should take the blue out a bit. Obviously, go easy on how orange...

I love the second pic of your stairs. The landing carpet looks a completely different colour to me, sand brown.

Much prefer the stairs!
