To be raging with 'd'p?

Basically, I did a big wash of all school uniform for ds for the coming week. I like to have it all clean and hung up for him in advance, so he knows where to find it. I work away quite a bit in the week, so it usually gets done on a weekend (dp doesn't bother doing any washing except his own stuff - where he's proud of how little he has to wash in terms of his own clothes).

As the weather was shite today, no chance of drying it outside. He hung it up indoors on a pulley thing (it would take a week to dry there), so I pulled it down and chucked it in the dryer. When I was out of the room, he got it all ot, chucked the load on the side, and PULLED THE FUSE OUT OF THE PLUG FOR THE DRYER! He has still not replaced it.

Am IBU to be a ball of rage about this?

He has form for being a tight arse.

I'm another one with experience of leaving an abuser. Yes, I lost friends and a place that I loved as my home, but it was most definitely worth it. Hard in many ways, but worth it to be free.

Stepping back from the heat of the moment...might he be frustrated that the washing could have been done earlier, leaving enough time for it to dry outside?

If he's just gotten himself worked up and caused a row, it's not really grounds for divorce...and does anyone else think it's inappropriate to suggest OP leaves her husband and the father of her child, based solely on an internet thread which the OP has written during what she herself described as a rage? Sitting down and discussing as a couple seems a more sensible option, surely?

Having said that...if he really is abusive, then take the fuse out of the washing machine so he can save money by using a washboard :)
