I used to order on a Saturday and things would be delivered on Sunday.

My last few orders have been delivered in a couple of days... I ordered yesterday and thing are being delivered on Monday.

AIBU or is Prime less valuable now; I might as well use the free delivery---- option?! 📦

I noticed that 2 things I ordered yesterday said delivery Monday. I'm in no hurry, but I did wonder why and yes, the firestick came in under 12 hours too.

It has been happening for over a year now. One of the big pulls for me paying for prime was the next day delivery now there is more and more stuff that says the delivery date is some time in the next few days often up to five or an item can be advertised as available on Prime but only one obscure size/colour/variation the est will come in weeks from China. Prime stuff was always a bit more expensive but I was happy to pay it for the convenience of getting it quickly.
I buy less and less from Amazon now I can get it faster and cheaper elsewhere the only reason I still have Prime is that I have the student version which is half price and it’s worth it to me for Prime video.

I have just ordered something and was given the option of same day delivery or being delivered Monday.
Tbh I have have been pretty pleased with the next day delivery, and we have ordered a few bits recently.
Does anyone else have issues with the amazon video app ? Our is really glitchy when we start playing a film, although it works through the PS4 app.

My last 4 prime orders were delivered late. I complained and they gave me £20 refund

I am having the same issue - I wanted the stuff next day not 2 days later

After saying earlier I haven't noticed, I've just ordered something and 'next day delivery' was stated as Tuesday! Perhaps they are very busy. But at least they are stating when it will be I guess.

I've never had a prime order arrive after the date stated on the order. Some items don't come the next day, but this is, ime, always notified on the order page, before I actually confirm the order. As most of what I order is available on prime, I just regard it as a prepaaiiydelivery charge with benefits. Certainly , with the amount of stuff I buy from Amazon, I'd pay more for delivery if I didn't have Prime and I get the benefit of the TV.
Also, it's always worth checking the cut off times for next day - I've noticed via the tracking, that products coming from the Peterborough warehouse seem to have a later cut off point than anything coming from Glasgow. And often the items that are due within a couple of days, are coming from a warehouse in France.

I ordered an electric toothbrush on Thursday and was surprised it said it would be delivered on Monday. I'm a Prime member.

I've just this second received notice from Amazon saying they will deliver it today.

Iike others have said, I put it down to Black Friday and they didn't want to commit to weekend deliveries. Imagine how many months of free Prime they'd have to give us all if they got hammered and couldn't do all the weekend deliveries.

I've just noticed this too, ordering some foil oven dishes and didn't realise until after clicking order that they won't be here til Tuesday. Think I'll cancel and just go to the shops instead.
I always complain though if stuff arrives later than the email says and you usually get a free month tacked on the end. I usually end up with each annual payment lasting 15m or so.
I often choose the no rush delivery though and get £1 digital voucher, funds most of my kindle purchases. Also with that if you place a few nonrush orders over a few days they package them up together to send (re a PP saying about the environmental issues).
My membership renews in December so quite glad of the extra month to give me a chance to reconsider renewing. I'm having twins in January and with DD prime was a lifesaver in the early weeks and months; more lansinoh and nappies next day etc. If it's mostly not next day any more I'll probably not bother any more.

I’ve had the same issue the last few weekends. If I order on the Friday it’ll say delivery is Monday! So I just leave it because if I order on Saturday morning I get same day delivery. I don’t know if it’s because they expect to be busy or something. But I’ve got an order coming tonight that I placed this morning but had I placed the same order last night, it was saying Monday.

My item that said it was coming Monday is now being delivered today! And Prime still says one day delivery where available in the t&c's

Talking of the no-rush delivery, like moggle I used to use this to get Kindle books. But for about three weeks now, instead of the digital credit they are offering me £3.00 off an Amazon Pantry order. (Food). I have looked into this and it seems useless. I don't plan to use it at all, you have to calculate how many items fit into a box or some such nonsense, and there is no fresh food. I'll stick to the usual online supermarkets for food, thanks Amazon. As well as that you can only apply one credit to each pantry order so you cant even save them up, it just pays for the delivery charge.

Rubbish! I miss my free kindle books. Has anyone else had this?

I've noticed the change as well. I have 2 delivery addresses, one in central London (work) and one in central Reading. I don't seem to be able to get next day delivery in either of them any more and it's been going for a few weeks. I think I'll cancel Prime

Maybe I've been lucky then! I placed two orders yesterday, one around lunchtime, one about 6pm. Both said delivery Monday, they both arrived about 15 minutes ago!

I'm still fuming that their couriers seem to think it's okay to open someone's front door (not even porch door) at 9pm and let themselves in yes I know door should have been locked and customer services is useless.

They are hammered at the moment, and they are outsourcing some of their deliveries to RM.
It's the same every year during Black Friday and the run-up to Christmas, deliveries are delayed.
I don't work for them. A friend is a driver who is thinking of leaving because of the abuse from customers over late deliveries.

They changed some settings recently. When we tried to order Prime on a Friday it only offered Monday as a delivery option. Talked to customer services and there's a new setting in the address book to state whether each address you have accepts weekend deliveries. I think it defaults to weekday only. If you amend that you will then be able to get next day delivery at weekend too (product depending!!)

My default address has weekend delivery enabled by default.

I did notice that an item I ordered today said it'd arrive on Tuesday even though I'm a Prime member, however during the checkout process it said it would arrive on Monday.

I'm blaming Black Friday and the run up to Christmas.

I ordered some stuff on Friday and it said it would come on Monday. I wasn't bothered because they must be really busy just now but they came today. I never expect next day deliveries at this time of year. Been with Prime for years now.
