because I haven't got any clue. Literally no ideas at all.....and people are going to ask me what I'd like, and I'm just going to sound like an idiot saying, "I don't really want/need anything" just like I do every year.

So please tell me what you want so I can pass it off as my own opinion....

blue2014 I thought the same! I’m the queen of useless stuff but I’ve never had cold wrists! My coat covers then....

gingerclementine · 24/11/2017 19:59

Chrys thank you for that tip about spiralizers.
Annabella your friend is right. Louis Roederer champagne is gorgeous. Just try not to acquire a taste for it.

Pebbles16 · 24/11/2017 19:59

I really hope I get a new kindle (mine has recently died); and I would like a set of those colour coded chopping boards.

buttwingsham · 24/11/2017 20:12

I can highly recommend these hush pyjamas I got for my birthday last week so comfy and warm. Accessorised with dh's ugg slippers I bought for him but he doesn't like them because he "doesn't like his heels out"Hmm

dementedma · 24/11/2017 20:20

earrings
the new Elbow cd
perfume
a bottle of Harris Gin
an isle of Skye candle
the new Nigel Slater book
a fountain pen
stuff from Lush

lljkk · 24/11/2017 20:38

We had power outage the other night, I truly do want some more candles; 2 big ones & a box of tea-candles would be great.

neck buff type thing to go with your new bike, OP, make the winter rides a bit cosier? I want one in pink. Get fleece b/c they handle condensation better than lycra/cottony ones.

Ansumpasty · 24/11/2017 20:42

Myself and DH don't do presents for each another anymore and my mum always says, 'you can pick something, if you like' after Xmas which means, obviously, I don't.
If we suddenly got lots of money and decided to splurge then I'd ask for:
A smart coat
'Going out' boots with heels
A curling wand
Himalayan salt lamp
An evening makeup set
Voucher for shellac nails
Ikea dressing table
A chopping board
A few of those plants that apparently cleanse the air
Alex and Ani bracelets
One of those fancy little bowls you put salt in that comes with a little spoon
Iphone upgrade
One day dry ski beginners lessons
Robert Pattinson

Floellabumbags · 24/11/2017 20:52

Every year I ask for a chainsaw

Shit the bed! I'd love a chainsaw. The other day DH asked me why there was a crowbar and a sledgehammer in the bedroom as if it's not a normal thing to do.

MrsMozart · 24/11/2017 21:07

A saddle for big ned.

Stable rugs for little pony.

Saddle for little pony.

HitAir jacket (for when riding either of the above!).

There is a serious slippers theme running through this thread Grin

thelastredwinegum · 24/11/2017 21:41

Lush bubble bars
Philips sonicare
Emma Bridgewater mugs
Photo albums
Nice pens

buckeejit · 24/11/2017 22:19

A pvc apron with hares on it that I can wear in my new kitchen on Christmas Day. And diamonds, loads of diamonds 😜

Frederickvonhefferneffer · 24/11/2017 22:20

Anything from aveda

divorcenightmare · 24/11/2017 22:45

A Fitbit Alta

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream

PassiveAgressiveQueen · 24/11/2017 22:50

I always ask for posh nibbles, food like chutneys.

Adults understand and just tell kids it because you love them soo much.

Giggorata · 25/11/2017 01:36

My fallback is to ask for essential oils... people can really splash out on frankincense or rose if they want to, or other nice ones, like ylang ylang or lavender..
I would also like the Expansion books, tickets to see Gogol Bordello, CD of Zelenka and yes, soft washable boot slippers.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 25/11/2017 01:42

A new iPad cover (mine is broken) - like my brother has, only I can't remember the make. Snugg or something.

Oxcheeks · 25/11/2017 02:12

I'd love a few days in Edinburgh, how do I let my DH know this??😂

Argeles · 25/11/2017 02:13

Chanel Allure perfume
Miu Miu perfume set
Mayumi origami earrings
Champagne truffles
A Chanel-style bag from DP
Leather boots (ankle or long)
A magazine subscription
Sleek Me lipstick and nail varnish
Marbling inks and cotton fabric

I’d be really happy with any of the above, and no way do I expect, or would I ask for all of them!

TheBlueMeaniesAreComing · 25/11/2017 02:30

I’ve asked my oh for a new Bluetooth speaker as mine died a few weeks ago and we couldn’t repair it. Lush bath bombs and a Yankee candle

I’ve asked my mum for a record player and my favourite bands latest album on vinyl. If she does that also means my birthday presents are so much easier 😆 the rest of the discography on vinyl

MrBenDover · 25/11/2017 02:47

I'd like:
Slippers
Harry Styles' new album
Magazine subscription
Pj's
New work clothes
Cooking lessons

Thishatisnotmine · 25/11/2017 03:01

Chelsea boots. Really nice ones. And a proper 'mum' coat. Waterproof, a hood, warm, looks good. I can either be waterproofed and cold or warm(ish) and wet. I want it all!

StarWarsFanatic · 25/11/2017 03:04

if someone could make the rest of firefly while they are at it then that would be great. - this, I would gladly never receive another gift for the rest of my life if I could have this.
I am in a similar boat, someone in work asked if I just wanted socks again this year but I seem to have enough now for a lifetime so I don't have a clue. I asked if everyone will think I am an arse if I ask them to donate some food to the food bank collection we have on site instead and she said yes Blush
Electric toothbrush? Think if dh is struggling I may ask him to sponsor an animal at the zoo for me, I know that you get tickets with it and I could use them to take my Ns. That way I am pretending it is a present for me right? I just hate having money wasted on things I don't need have space for

Katedotness1963 · 25/11/2017 03:06

New slippers. Mine have a hole in them and are never going to survive the washing machine again.

A tub of jewelry cleaner.

Adult colouring book and pencils.

Godiva chocolates.

Books from Amazon wish list.
