Found a condom in boyfriends jeans pocket

I've just been through the laundry basket to put a load of washing on and found an unopened condom in the pocket of my boyfriends jeans.

We don't use condoms.

Aibu to think there could be a perfectly innocent reason for it being there??

I object to being told repeatedly that I am failing to engage my brain because I disagree with another poster.

It's obviously not looking good. Being suspicious and cautious is not wrong though.

Somebody told me once, if you lie you must stick to the story no matter how implausible your story is. That condom did not put itself in his pocket.

The DM printing posts from here isn't a new thing. They used to have a few paragraphs in a rectangle space most weeks.

Last year my lady friend of 76 'lost' her credit card. We hunted high and low - even completely emptying her bag. There was an old condom in there. We ignored that. We don't 'do' sex any more anyways. Later I obtusely broached the subject. Apparently she carried it in case she ever got assaulted and raped. I understood her point. People do carry these things around because there are some really nasty individuals around. At a recent human awareness institute retreat the women were asked by the men if they had ever been raped. About 60% put their hands up. The question was repeated for the men. About 10% put their hands up. So even for men there is a possibility of sexual abuse. An increasing possibility with social services and the authorities ignoring the endemic and rampant sexual abuse and slavery taking place in the UK and elsewhere now-a-days.
